I originally thought Christian was gonna be one of the big musicians in Elliot’s time but in Elliot’s time Christian would be in his late 50’s.. anyways since there was a blackout I’m thinking either A.) he didn’t make it to 2048 and he’s still in 2008 or B.) he didn’t make it to 2048 but he went to like 2020 and maybe he’ll meet Christian again but this time Christian is older??

Okay but realistically someone like Seungho won’t change overnight, is what he’s doing good or should be excused bc of his own past and mentally issues? No, absolutely not but from the author’s perspective this is what’s realistic. Now based on the situation I feel like we all know what’s gonna happen and I REALLY hope Seungho doesn’t r*pe Nakyum in the next scene or any other scenes coming up bc like shit.. you ain’t coming back from that one

Don’t get me wrong I love Midoriya and I understand that from his third person view he believes Endeavor is a person who’s changing for the good and yes we did see that with the way he’s trying to build his family back and he’s even willing to give them a place where he won’t bother them. I’ll also acknowledge the fact that when Touya was born he was genuinely happy and loved him. All of that doesn’t change the fact the absolute trauma and terror he brought to every single one of his family members, he mentally, emotionally and physically abused them bc of his own inferiority complex and his own obsession with power. He’s what drove Touya to become Dabi, imagine how much pain you have to be in both mentally and physically for someone to be a child who thinks the world of his dad, wants to become a hero that saves the world to a “villian” that wants to kill his own brother and father, wants to burn down the world and himself along with it. Deku had no business tryna tell Touya/Dabi that he should acknowledge the fact that Endeavor’s changing when he himself never got to experience that change and he got the worse out of all his victims.

I would just like to thank you so much for your thoughts on this chapter. I also agree that Izuku had no right to say that Enji was changing and that Touya should just “accept that”. Sure he should acknowledge it, but no amount of “changing” will actually change what he did in the past. Enji is trying to be a good man, but that does not excuse who he was in the past. Touya is right, “the past just doesn’t go away.” The pain and suffering he and everyone in the family went through is going to stay, no matter how long it’s been.

Yes!! Exactly that!! I’m sure Izuku wasn’t tryna make Dabi’s trauma seem insignificant and I’m sure he was saying it to cheer up Enji and Shoto but still the fact that he said it to Dabi, whether or not he was tryna make things seem insignificant really came out that way after Dabi poured out his heart

Well this is just my understanding, Izuku never told touya to acknowledge endaveour
What izuku did was justify why he was meddling
He justified meddling between the family drama becuz he sees the present endeavour and mostly because of todoroki who is a dear friend to him.
Izuku also says the past doesn't disappear so endaveours still at fault for all this but he also says endaveour is making an effort to change and that touya isn't endaveour
So basically, for me it feels like izuku is saying that if touya is doing this to hurt endaveour by being like him, it won't accomplish anything but just make Dabi hurt- I feel like izuku is saying you are your own person, you don't need to hurt urself by using ur fire to hurt like endaveour does
But I guess it's up to interpretation and u also make a point.

I used the word “acknowledge” bc I didn’t know any other way to describe it without taking up more space but to specify what I meant by acknowledge is when Dabi told Deku to stay out of their family business and in turn Deku replied with something along the lines of “it doesn’t change the past but endeavor is trying to change and you’re not endeavor” (I think he means you’re not endeavor so you can’t choose whether or not he’s trying?? Idk about that line though) but when he said that right after he saw Dabi confessing to everything and pouring out his heart that he felt pain both emotionally/mentally and physically bc of Enji it seemed like Deku was tryna imply that “yes you might’ve gone through shit but endeavor is changing for the better” which in my opinion is something he shouldn’t have said nor butted in, he could’ve simply ended the conversation (when Dabi asked why he’s interfering) with a “shoto is my friend and I want to protect him” he really didn’t have to bring up Endeavor and Endeavor being a “good” mentor towards HIM when he JUST heard how Enji abused his wife and children. Like to put it in context what he basically said was “yes he might’ve been an ass to you but he’s changing for the better, a proof of that is he was a good mentor to ME” and whether deku intended for him to be insensitive towards touya(which I really doubt) the way it came off still stands as him belittling touya’s trauma and trying to redeem Enji. If he just ended it with “I want to protect/help Shoto” it wouldn’t seem like deku is trying to make touya’s trauma and pain feel small and trying to make enji a good person.. sorry this was hella long, in no way am I mad and I totally understand if you disagree I just wanted to clarify where I come from

!!!! I really liked your interpretation of how deku is trying to tell Dabi that he doesn’t need to hurt others like enji did,, also my choice of word for “acknowledge” was based on me not wanting to make my comment any longer but what I meant was, it felt like to me he was tryna push the “Endeavor is now good despite what he did in the past” idea onto Dabi especially with his example of “he was a good mentor to me” when he just heard how Enji abused his children and wife in result not being a good mentor to his own family (if that makes sense??) and I’m sure Deku wasn’t trying to be rude bc that’s not like him but if he needed to prove why he’s interfering with their conversation/conflict he could’ve just ended it with a “I want to help shoto” and moved on. Just from my opinion if I was in Dabi’s position and I just explained my entire past and trauma and bear my heart out and an outsider like Deku replied with what he said in the heat of the moment I wouldn’t interpret the words as nicely as he might’ve intended to, my first thought would be “oh he’s trying to belittle me and make this about himself or someone else.” I’m not sure if this makes sense but in conclusion I truly do believe deku wasn’t trying to be mean, but despite that I still think that his choice of words at that specific time was insensitive and in a way annoying for someone else to hear. But I respect your interpretation and I truly think your interpretation is what deku meant, my interpretation isn’t what I think deku was trying to say but it’s the way it could be heard.

Oh wow, I really love your interpretations, they really put sense into everything like we know izuku did not mean it that way because we know his character but dabi obviously won't find it that way, he will think the way just as you said
So we're both possibly right but just thinking from different perspectives and I think u really nailed Dabi's viewpoint

This story was unexpectedly very cute, their dynamic was adorable.. also the way my jaw fucking DROPPED when I realized Katsumi was a top I just could never imagine the doctor be willing to have a teen’s dick up his ass... ALSO THE FACT THAT THE SAME VA FOR ASH FROM BANANA FISH VOICED MASAYUKI AND THE VA FOR TSUKISHIMA VOICED THE BULLY

I am proud of Chowon for being able to admit his wrongs and properly apologize for the shit he tried to pull, sure like he said he might’ve just wanted to give a scare and he really didn’t mean to hurt him but that doesn’t get rid of the fear and pain Heesoo had to go through so for that I’m happy he was able to push his pride aside and apologize. But while I am proud of him I also believe Heesoo had every right responding that way, actually I think he was quite generous, if I was in that situation I’d want Chowon to be in constant anguish for what he did but Heesoo was kind enough to tell Chowon that despite him not forgiving him for what he did he does want Chowon to be able to carry on with his life and be able to live it normally again. Heesoo’s response was more than generous and it’d take a fucking saint to completely forgive and forget what happened to them in Heesoo’s situation. Also same applies with Kyungsoo he had every right to not want to visit Chowon after he founds out what he did to his friend.
Damn I didn’t expect Mori to come in clutch.. now as much as I love Tachihara.. I don’t think he can win this by himself, I mean Akutagawa was his superior and he even had Atsushi with him but even they failed. I hope mori had a plan for Tachihara and it wasn’t just a “go get him this is the least you could do.” Also speaking of Akutagawa.. WHERE IS MY BABY IS HE GOOD ALSO when the vampire infection thing goes away is he gonna go back to being a corpse or...
Well akutagawa was only his superior because he was undercover, tachihara probably has more strength than he lets on. But i see your point
