I lowkey forgot but everyone in the story talks about him being “ugly” because his face is kind of obscured and fuzzy to whoever sees it right?(fourth wall schenanigans) Or was it because he was written as ugly, so the story deems him ugly to the characters while he’s not? Or he’s just average looking mob character and everyone sees him as ugly compared to YJH? I feel like his drawn too attractive for that to be it? I hope it’s the 1st one. I think there was a moment when a companion saw him (in some abnormal circumstance I forgot) and they were like “woah he’s not ugly why is he called the ugly king? Why am I just seeing this now?” So I’m going with the obscured/distorted face theory for now. If he’s just a mob looking character that’s okay too I just want to know

Man I love this story but it’s kind of funny he’s met the guy he wants to kill so badly on multiple occasion, and he’s in the crowd rn.. Like at this moment he’s all “I’LL GET REVENGE I SWEAR” pushing himself to his limits while the guy is standing 20ft away chilling☠
Usually when an MC is super hyped to kill the evil guy for revenge he goes straight for him at any chance. “Any chance” because each time they meet the MC is usually stronger. And if the power difference is too big they don’t meet often until MC powers up more and gets beaten by evil guy in smaller battles while evil guy is all “come back when you’re strong enough muahakaka” But it seems like our MC can really control himself because he’s just glared at him
Guys does this have romance? I’m deciding if I want to read it. I’m fine with spoilers.
I can’t handle the art style change. Not only are the characters more anime big eyed and less refined but the shading is so bland now. The older art style was painterly and unique. We went from moody environments to basic bright colors.
Does anyone know if Kim Dokja becomes the Demon King?
Side note: I started reading this from the moment it first came out, but soft dropped it after the chapter where he gets drunk and almost kisses his coworker because of Dionysus.(I thought it was gonna be a harem lol) But I just reread it today and it took a long time, but I’m so happy I did! Holy shit^_^

The romance plot is so annoying to me.
The whole Alicia romance doesn’t feel genuine or moving at all. I think why she pisses me off so much is because she’s literally such a flat formulaic character that we haven’t spent time with, and yet people love her, and we know Vlad will eventually love her. We’re supposed to see her as someone the Vlad SHOULD eventually love but his obliviousness to romance is the thing stopping him.. I hate that kind of shit so much.
She’s kind of a flat character with her only considered “flaws” I guess being: works too hard(usually seen as a positive thing ), untrusting(not really?), and gets angry at MC like any boring love interest does (Even childhood friend gets mad at his “obliviousness” and blushes. They’re both doing the tsundere shit)
Idk why people like Alicia, other than her looks ig??
She’s a beautiful perfect girl. She’s like the princess in every fairytale who loves someone they just met.
She’s used him as a tool and blushes at him that’s LITERALLY IT!! We don’t see them become friends or coworkers overtime. The interactions are often “she admires his single minded non-deceiving attitude ‘cause he’s the “only one” who’s like that—>MC does/accepts/ignores romantic gesture accidentally—> perfect nobel lady blushes/gets mad—> he shrugs it off and side characters get mad at him for being oblivious”
I couldn’t care less about her or the romance I just want the main plot and his progression as a knight.

okay so I’m conflicted. First off I HATEE the “ML killed MC’s parent/s” trope. It happened in Viper too and it pisses me off. I’m rooting for this ML at every turn.. but there are just too many relationship ending lies, it’s just stressful!!! Like get it over with and tell him before I do. I can’t handle the lies and manipulation. I love smart manipulative characters but I want them to have a decent reason so we can justify rooting for them. I want to root for ML but it’s getting harder and harder because of the increasing manipulation and lies. Just love him truthfully and NEVER tell him what happened to his mom. The only reason I like MC is because he’s kinda stupid and still loves the ML.
After the ranks are changed I think a mistranslation says third place 42 seconds, so someone’s fast asf lol
I LOVE THIS STORY!!! AND HOMEN!!! Slight rant but I LOOOVE THIS STORY! this is just something I thought about for a sec while reading.
Before people say “Who cares? what do you expect? The artist comes from wherever blah blah, where blah blah blah is the norm” they literally show SO many places and SO many people they gotta work on their diversity idgaf♀
So, I hope we see some old women this season. Every single woman has the same sexy body/look but with slightly different hairs and personalities. (Other than the German redhead who’s short, not d cup, and not as sexualized) We see old men but ZERO older women☠☠☠ not even middle aged??! Ik the author can do it because they’re are so many different men. Like remember the pair teleport/portal short old man wizard and the huge tall guy with a bowl cut and mace? The only uniquely structured woman I can think of is the Japanese bodyguard lady that shows up in like 3 panels before disappearing forever.
Ik hot people are the thing to draw, but after seeing so many women that look similar just with different hair colors I’m confusing them and sometimes idk who’s who and why I should care.
I wish there was more diversity not only with women’s ages and body types but everyone’s race. We got guilds and players from around the world yet there’s like 0 black people bro
