after finishing the novel i did some research. i’m not exactly sure why the name is “smells like green spirit” but could it be connected to the song “smells like teen spirit” written by nirvana? nirvana included kurt cobain who also wrote “god is gay” and said he was most likely a bisexual.
im not sure how true this all it and lmk if i’m wrong but i think that’s kinda neat.

an amazing manga. i cried my eyes out. but i’m a bit confused— did tarou marry a woman? i thought he was with futoshi?
either way, i feel for kirino. he wound up prioritizing his mother over his true self which is his own way to appreciate his mother. the lipstick scene with the pandora box made me cry my eyes out.
the horror scenes were truly truly truly terrifying.

when i tell u i didn’t want to read this one at first i DIDNT. i actually started this a month or so ago but then dropped it on the second chapter out of pure boredom. HOWEVER, i read it through and it gets WAY BETTER FOLKS! stick around because you won’t regret it! i throughly enjoyed it surprisingly. 5/5!
rape was lowkey glamorized and i don’t know how i like it... i can appreciate the uke recognized it wasn’t consensual however he just looked over it because he loved the seme.. i don’t know. i liked the yaoi but it just felt a little off at times.
I felt that way too. The rape was definitely unnecessary. The story was great without it. Many yaois just cant avoid this dumb trope for some reason.
