so crazy how the author wrote xingxing and all the characters to be more modern and liberal with thoughts and opinions like their parents teaching them sex ed and her mum being so open to letting her stay with her bf and the reaction to xing's rumours having feminist undertones but then introduces an age gap couple like omg the whiplash... i rly thought this would be a normal if not a little corny love story but the side couple is sooo... especially since he was their TEACHERRR and his love interest is the same age as his students oh my god
i still think the main couple is soo cute and xing is such a girls girl i adore her and lu xi so much
Age gap is also a thing in asian storyline. Dont get me started on the number of teacher to student rs manga/anime. Even Japanese dramas portray and normalise such r/s... yep its fked up.
