Six chapters can be a little frustrating, but it's nothing absurd. Takeru was playing it safe, so what? Kimihito was as well. They're both having a hard time and are scared because they've been friends for so long, it's fine.
Although I have do say I do respect Kimihito a bit more simply because he's being brave finally. Like, he kinda "fired" Takeru before going to pursue him. Props for that.
Whereas Takeru wanted to make Kimihito more dependent on him...if only as a safety blanket. (But Kimihito wants to depend on him, so why not?)
It is what it is, everyone has their own way to do things...just hope they get together soon!
