Yeah, you can be right… however, the form may be wrong but the meaning stays the same : there is a lack of originality in the process of creating a ML. And this lack of originality, could be linked to a certain laziness.
Moreover in this story, none of the Blonde men’s feelings are legitimate. The Grand Duke only turned back time because he was explained his mistake by Cosette and then started to feel guilty. And yet he had a happy ending by relinking with his daughter and amending their relationship. Erez only turned back time to save the empire and not her precisely, he just happened to spend some time with her and think that he may have feelings for her. And he got the girl, not because he turned back time but merely because he is blonde with blue eyes.
On the other hand, Sir Joseph has been there for her and that for many years. He never doubted her, listened to her, worried for her and even thought he could not turn back time he too tried to save her both in her previous life (by arranging an escape) and her new life (by showing her eternal devotion). Now my question is : where was Erez when Keira needed someone in her previous life ? He wasn’t doing shit! It’s only after her death that the rest of her surrounding started to do something.

Look at lists on the side of the pages for stories you really liked to find more stories that are similar in some way. go to " all genres" and then click around on what you want and don't want as genre. you can only click at so many boxes. Like click away "shounen ai/yaoi/shoujo ai/yuri/one-shot/smut/ecchi/harem" and then click on "webtoon" then click on "popularity" or "views" and search through stuff. you can also click away other genres you really don't like cause some of these romance stories also have "action" and some historical stuff don;t have "historical" tags so play around. you can also click on "completed" if you only wanna see completed stories. but not all completed stories always get the "completed" tag also take note of that. well so play around. read the stuff that is top rated and get a feel for these things. that is how I approached reading here first hehe

It’s a ugly word but that’s how racist people talk and I’m sure the author themself doesn’t say that word but it gets more intense with slurs since the point of the story is to show how poc and gay people struggle in this world (dunno if this helped clear up something)
It’s just that :
1. If it were necessary why not ? But chapter 2, it is way to early and unnecessary
2. Racism can be depicted without saying such a word… like the way when I walk into a Sephora the ladies ignore me but my flatmate is welcomed… like the way I was asked where I was really coming from etc…
I stopped after reading the chapter 2 and reading that it is only getting worse comfort me in my decision <3

I took a liking to this BL because, unlike others, the story is not focused on sex. We have an actual story that is developed. I agree that the sexual intimacy was brought quite awkwardly, but I think that it is in tune with the characters. Their relationship is quite awkward. It's a kind of push and pull. I also find it quite cute and that it adds realism to the story, unlike other BLs. So let’s all enjoy a Boy Love without the usual rape and psychological abuses that have been regularised and are ubiquitous in the genre.
A similar one to this that is slow burn and doesnt focus on physical intimacy is "the hunter wants to live quietly" honestly i love them both equally
