Where I left off in the novel cause where I read it is also ongoing. The stepmother has a good relationship with the ML already. The ML has a problem with touching women. (l won't say why cause I dont want to spoil too much) So the ML and the step mother meets every night to fix this problem by holding each other's hands. I think it's a little further than that but that's basically where I am in the novel.
