honestly i hate this manga, i hate it so much i came here just to leave a hate comment. beck in a day i gave up on it after few chapters because i just couldn't.
uke is just this lonely pathetic guy and this other guy comes close to him pretending to be nice and friendly and no matter how awful he is to uke the fact is the guy is lonely and desperate because of his loneliness and he will do anything for this one person who makes him feel less lonely. i got the impression that uke isn't even in love with seme. maybe i would think differently if i were to read on, but i won't. i believe he is just emotionally codependent on his only friend and that's why he is ready to do anything so he would stay by his side. it's easy to confuse such feelings for romantic love if you were never in love before, because the intensity of need is such that is attributed to romance. maybe some people here went trough that and know what i'm talking about. and seme sees this need and uses however he sees fit. if uke were to have friends that would be to his disadvantage.
in any case, if you like this manga you'll probably also like Ten count, because i hate it for all the same reasons
I didn't really like ten count either but first some reason I gave it quite a high rate on mangago (maybe cus its showing reality of disorders which is rarely shown in bl's) it was just manipulative I'm just continuing to read this since I might ad well finish it
ten count had nice art and was intriguing, and yes, the plot was interestingly set, that's why i read trough that one even after i started hating it. buut seme was the worst scum that got exactly what he wanted with little to no trouble along the way, while uke stayed dependent on him to the end. also the rape scene was probably the most disturbing rape scene (for me personally) i've ever read, and i read feeding lamb and ks and many, maany others. and after such a rape scene you see the victim being lonely without the rapist and while it was all frightening and horrible for him he decides he wants more because he's too weak to be all alone. and this guy did the exact same thing if i remember correctly.
if it was shown as a bad thing and an obstacle for mc or if the scum ended up completely broken and miserable and alone, that would be satisfing. this is just... sick power imbalance fantasy, and i can neither respect or enjoy it. and i will not add a disclaimer ''if you can, go ahead and enjoy it'' because i honestly don't understand how people do that. unless they want to imagine stepping all over someone with no consequence. and to that i say - get your shit fixed. like, empathy maybe. and if they want someone to do that to them - and i'm not saying in a fun, consensual way - you should definitely respect yourself more

i looove yoonsung! jaewon might've fell out of love with him, but i fell right in. that ''you fall down easiliy, if i hit on you will you fall for me?'' that's daaamn smooth boy, you got me. i don't really feel bad for him tho, he can do a lot better, and he should fall in love with a real person, not with a childhood memory.
i feel bad for junseo, i'd say i see more of me in him then in anyone else here. i really liked his and jaewon's friendship, it reminded me of my relationship with my best friend, and i'm bitter it ended. all that aside, his and his ex boyfriend's story is my favorite part of the whole manhwa. i want a manhwa about those two, and i want them beck together! give me that drama, emotional rollercoaster, sweetness and tears, that's what i feed on!
i'm real happy for jaewon and i like his character, he's so fearless, honest and pure! he deserves love, and he deserves love of the one he likes. i don't think junseo was his type of guy at all, he seems to go for cheerful, perfect, loved-by-all types, not for serious, emotional lone wolves. so, good for him! i'm still confused why karam over yoonsung tho, but, well, love is weird!
even jaehee's character was more flashed out then karam's and that's probably part of the reason why people are collectively unsatisfied with the ending. i get it, i get it, what's most important here are jaewon's feelings, but still, all we know about karam is that he likes jaewon, and he can fight, i guess? oh, and he also has a dog! as it turns out, the reason for having his dog as his profile pic is that apart from him, he has no personality... even his hair screams I'M PLAIN, I'M SUUPER PLAIN, DON'T YOU SEE??
all in all, it was a nice read and an unusual story, it reminded me of harem where the protagonist actually ends up with someone. there's a childhood friendfirst love, a close friend who doesn't stand a chance, aaand there's a plain one, a case of insta-love who gets to be introduced first and thus we know it's the main girlguy
WARNING: this authors works are purposefully bizzare, meaningless fun. just treat it as a silly dream from deepest depths of a horny virgin's fever, and you'll be able to enjoy it. and if you want some characters to sympathise and connect with or a romance to make you all sweet and mushy inside, or any semblance of sense at all...
sooo i read only up to ch3 buut not once did they agree on what toys they will be using, what kind of play or injury is allowed. basically top is perfectly disinterested in soft or hard limits of the bottom and bottom is miraculously fine with all that. all this applies even for their FIRST play, and then bottom only agreed on some rough sex, not on whipping or shitting or being unable o move. DRUNK. and what's with that ''you can leave the room if you don't like something i do''? and what if he can't walk, smart-ass? why not just have safe words and agree on what you'll be doing? at this rate it's not s/m, it's d/s 24/7. between a newbee and a guy who doesn't do safe words.
anyway, don't want to spoil anyone's fun, and i've read waay more ridiculous and violent manga and enjoyed it, but it angers me that this story seems to present itself as realistic, healthy and whatnot, when it really isn't. i'm also triggered because that's the kind of top i'm scared of meeting, one that seems nice and understanding but really doesn't give a shit about your willingness.
Read the other chapters if you haven't already, the top may be brutal but when he sees the bottom can't take anymore he stops. (btw in the last chapters the bottom was still erect so-) ╮(￣▽￣)╭
manga is manga, it's not reality so whatever, but it should't be up to anyone else to decide how much you can take and what it is you want. and i get that yaoi logic ''your body says it's ok so it's fine'' has its appeal, but you should definitely ask the mind, because we aren't simply bodies. hahah i get it's silly to compere the two, these are 2D characters meant simply to be erotic so really, ask the body, and if it says yes then it is indeed perfectly fine, while with actual humans things are waay more complicated and delicate and everything should be very much outspoken, informed consent and all that. because bdsm done wrong can hurt people, not just in a fun way and not just physically.
i guess my point is if you're enjoying this, great for you, i myself don't for reasons stated earlier. if you're not a kinkster and you simply like weird yaoi, go for it i guess, and if you're a bdsm enthusiast and want to get to know something about the subject trough this, well, good luck??

in my opinion this is a fantasy of a person with sadistic tendencies who either knows very little about bdsm or is ignoring the parts that are inconvenient for the fantasy. i might be wrong, but the bottom just acts and thinks and reacts in all the illogical ways that are convenient for the top. that being sad, masochistic wish-fulfillment stories can also produce some crazy shit, like in sneaky red or kemono asobi, but those don't present themselves as realistic bdsm stories, they are just about violence and over the top, no one would think of those situations as safe or healthy so no one would mistake fantasy for reality - and that's why this one makes me especially angry, and disappointed. aaand characters are flat and story non-existent, as far as i could see
