Donāt get me wrong I donāt like the blonde girl but the one I truly despise is the father. Think about it this way, time did get reversed and MC did come back with ALL memories, but so did the father but bit by bit, what if he didnāt get those memories in his ānightmareā? Heād stay the complete POS he was back then. He isnāt changing because MC changed, but because those memories from that dream haunt him and it was imprinted in his soul causing physical pain. He would be the exact same if he didnāt have that dream and his reaction in the beginning of the story to MC telling him that she will stop morning greetings would have been completely different as does his other reactions later on. Itās clear heāll be forgiven but damn do i want him dead.
Actually, from what the butler said about him never showing his true feelings, I think there's more to him than what we see. I don't think it will completely excuse him, but it might show some more insight into why he acted the way he did instead of him just being a complete asshole for no reason.
Iām so tired of yāall always forgiving the MLās actions just because of a stupid sob story. Yes he was forced into submission by MCās dad but at the same time he couldāve done small things to make sure that reina was okay. He did not try at all. He couldāve lied, he couldāve hired special attendants, etc. he couldāve done so many things but because he was a coward he chose not to. I really couldnāt care less about his side or his past because what he did was literally unforgivable (imo)
Another thing, there was a post above this basically saying that MCās actions due to trauma is the same to MLās because MC was negligent (towards her duties as duchess and mother) What kind of stupidity is that? The MC was mentally and physically abused by her own father later on being mentally abused and neglected by her own husband, WHAT KIND OF TRAUMA DO YOU EXPECT THIS WOMAN TO NOT HAVE?! Yes she was a bad mother but NO ONE tried to help her. AND THEY ALL KNEW SHE WASNT OK BECAUSE THEY ALL KNEW WHAT SHE WENT THROUGH. But apparently she was a bad mother so she deserved to get her child taken away instead of getting emotional support from her husband etc.
All in all, fuck his sob story, fuck him, and Iām not arguing with anybody. Those who forgive over a simple sob story are the weakest links.
