so are you telling me the emperor did love the empress but he didn’t know how to show it because she was always cold? and you’re also telling me that every time they did secks they never had a child so the emperor thought she was infertile and in order to successfully have a child he got a concubine and impregnated her. then divorced the empress, as planned for a year, so she doesn’t possibly hurt the child that is going to be hers. but the empress was already pregnant and ready to be with someone else when the divorce came so he had to deal with rashta’s attitude and humiliation. and because nothing went the way he wanted he started going insane up to the point he started hallucinating the empress and then fell to his death? um okay. cool.
i mean he was an asshole but if he really did try to do it for her sake, that was a shitty way of doing it.
as long as he rests in peace, rashta’s alone, and our beautiful Navier is happy with her new emperor
Navier wasn't already pregnant when they got divorced. She eventually does get pregnant after marrying Heinly. Everything else is correct. His attitude is very weird even in certain ch that have already happened he has acted like he loves her & is jealous. In the beginning, I'm not sure if it was love, but they grew up together so he obviously cared about her. I might argue that he wouldn't have divorced her if they had a kid already. He probably would have gotten a concubine, either way, b/c she is very cold & not affectionate even before Rashta. & I think that just came from the pressure of the family she came from, one that produces empresses for the empire. I mean that is the only reason that pushed her in the beginning to marry Heinly b/c she was raised to be an empress & she didn't see herself not being one. He's gonna regret so badly what he did to her like it was so bad that at times I felt even a bit sad for him, just a little (he deserved what happens to him). Like in no way am I justifying his actions, but they both played a part in what led to their divorce.
i forgot to mention he has said it in certain instances that he wished she was more honest & affectionate like rashta. Which who can blame him, who wouldn't want their partner to be affectionate with them. We can't deny Navier is serious & not affectionate. Although clearly, he went the wrong way about it, he could have avoided all this shit if he just clearly talked to her. but i'm just realizing i think we forget that they don't hate each other. He clearly wants her as his empress 1) b/c she is the most suitable person in the kingdom to be empress 2) b/c his known since they were kids she would be his empress & 3) he knows Rasta is not in the least bit qualified to be empress. the only reason he made her empress was b/c he believed Navier was infertile & he wanted his baby with rashta to be a part of the royal family

this is exactly how i feel, and i keep crying about it every time Ue notices that Mafuyu isn’t truly over Yuki. It pains me to know that Mafuyu thinks of Yuki being like Ue sometimes, how he sees Yuki as Ue constantly. It just makes it seem like Ue is a replacement. And Harigama too, it’s almost like he expects Ue to be exactly like Yuki, he wants him to finish a goddamn love song Yuki wrote for Mafuyu. I mean he should have been more considerate, and does Mafuyu even know his current boyfriend is finishing a song his dead ex boyfriend wrote for him, for the group of friends he feels is stealing his boyfriend from him again?!
