The friend is actually chill lol. I had my suspicion at first too and thought he's 2nd ml but he's not, he's just the overprotective friend. Altho it does feel like there's some hints dropped about his feelings towards hajin but it's not romantically at least? He actually likes both top and bottom, he let ml get close with mc cuz he knew ml is a nice guy. He's actually even quite supportive for their relationship lol. At the very least he's obsessive but not possessive towards hajin and dude did not do any red flag things and have only been protecting hajin as far as I remember.
He said that those two suits each other very much (not in a jealous tone but in a cheerful happy way) . I actually like that dude lol bro's just chill even if he got obsessive tendencies he never cross any lines.
