it's Lucas... He's unusual loyalty to Ash is quite questionable... He was scum even before he transmigrated there so it's really weird that Lucas was so loyal to him.... And he's the first to discover something was wrong with him.... And since he's the closest to a prince, he could also be close to the other princes..... So i think his loyalty is not towards Ash but to one of his brother...
But i could be wrong....
Wasn't Lucas the only game npc to survive in the original game? I feel he's the least suspicious. Dude went berserk for the sake of the town. But that's just me.

That's exactly it.... Why i think he's suspicious? He might've his previous gameplay memories... And orig Ash was a scumbag, so he had to do everything but so many died in the process.... Now that he's given another chance, he will ally with a different prince and make a better ending but Voila, Ash suddenly changed.... for the better...He must've reported to the crown that he's doing well so the royals should send help.... That's why Ash is trying to single out the spy in the latest chap.... He has to berserk or use his ability in order for Ash not to die considering Lucas' knightly characteristics....
