I don’t know if it’s just me, but I’m around 30 chapters and quite frankly… I don’t like the main seme. I don’t like his personality, he’s annoying and whiney, and clingy, while also not wanting to be with the uke. It’s just annoying. I honestly prefer the side seme better, he’s mature, and forthright, respectful, and has a much better read on the uke. But in typical yaoi manga fashion, I already know the uke is gonna choose his childhood friend, despite him being so childish.

This method that a lot of writers use, where they just out of nowhere destroy the likability of side characters in order to force us to like the ML who they also wrote atrociously, but because the rest have been completely demonized, the ML is the only viable option… that method of writing is so lazy and tired. Like why not just make the main character a good person? The behavior of Taein rn is COMPLETELY out of character and came from left field. It’s just to destroy his likability but like why? Why did our boy even call out for the crackhead commander anyway? It’s all so out of character. Lazy lazy writing （￣へ￣）
