i feel like it was very disrespectful of him to hint that. kang made it clear that his ‘criteria’ for dating someone is that they’re successful and in a way, beneficial for him. nothing wrong with that, but it becomes wrong when he sees yiyoung as someone like that, dating him (kang) because he’s successful and beneficial for his start up when yiyoung is not at all similar to him. he needs to stop assuming that his way of life is the way of life of everyone…. i feel so sad for yiyoung… of course kang is not the worst ML ever but some things he did/said were just plain disrespectful towards a person like yiyoung whose feelings are so genuine and pure. hopefully, they can have a deep talk in the future and kang can learn a thing or two about manners from yiyoung, like how yiyoung learned business from him.
