Why do you all think heesoo needs a baby to be happy, a lot of couples love each other and are happy without children, I love this universe but it seeems like it’s made you guys think that if a couple doesn’t have children they aren’t complete or happy..l it’s already enough we have to put up with that shit in the real world lmaooo... stop enforcing heteronormative shit on these couples

The way most people that read bl treat bl characters is actually SUUUUPER heteronormative (enforcing the “feminine” traits on the “uke”, complaining when couples switch, etc) And in this case I’m referring to the fact that they DEMAND to see this couple have a child to validate them being happy- even tho the author has made it clear that they’re happy regardless.
Do they want a child?yes but they can’t have it and it’s something that is embedded in their dynamic as an alpha/beta couple. That being childless doesn’t make them any less happy! And i think it’s amazing it touches upon this because in real life a lot of gay couples CANT have children for a variety of reasons.
In literally almost every alphaverse they always complain if they couple didn’t have a baby, it’s the same shit people do to straight couples AND women in a basis

There’s a bunch of bl couples I love, and I don’t care if they have children or not, that being said imho It’s okay to want to see them have one but when almost every comment about this couple is whining about how they need to have a baby or how miserable they are without one it’s totally heteronormative

i agree with all your points, and that children aren't a necessity for having a loving relationship or a happy family. i was just pointing out that the act of raising children is not inherently heteronormative. many gay couples adopt children, and that doesn't mean they are mimicking straight couples.
rather than heteronormative, i would probably just say its the expectation to have a nuclear family, as that's seen as the "ideal" family unit for everyone. ofc the heteronormativity in the seme vs uke archetypes is super true. you could even say its in the character designs themselves
i personally don't really care if they have a child. whatever makes the characters happy. i think its sweet they adopted a puppy because they want to take care of something together.

I never said raising or having Children is something that’s only for straight couples, I said enforcing it as a necessity to have a “happy life” or “happy marriage” is.
Simply because it’s part of the standard in relationships and it’s a role imposition that is done traditionally on a relationship with a straight couple, but I totally see what you mean and I think we both actually share the same opinions just worded differently,
My point wasn’t that having children is only for straight people, it’s that defining having them as a pivotal thing for a relationship to ensure happiness is forcing the standards that are imposed on straight people unto gay couples and it’s very tone deaf in most situations since there’s a bunch of reasons why gay couples usually can’t have children and I love that albeit for a different reason the author is exploring that here.

I SEE UR TRUEEE COLOOORS~~~
This was unbelievably hot and sexy and intense and it felt so wrong, also DID PARAM JUST ADMIT OUTLOUD HE HAA FEELINGS FOR HWI? ⁄(⁄ ⁄·⁄ω⁄·⁄ ⁄)⁄
This chapter was everything but I think it also clearly sets up that Mr. Han is NOT a good choice for Param, by his own words. He’s been hurt too much by him

I have never scrolled faster from a sex scene, was I the only one who was uncomfortable the entire chapter? When will this horrible cycle of miscommunication and rape end? We all really thought that the older servant was going to save the day and he was just some stupid plot point to humiliate nakyum more :(

I swear Han can’t win with you. He is shown breaking up with his sex buddy to pursue Param and he’s a fuck boy for it? Lmaoooohe gets called a whore for what exactly? For enjoying his sexual life while making it clear he didn’t want a relationship? ...he apologizes and shares something deeply personal after realizing he hurt Param and now he’s manipulative? He ignores his own feelings for Param because he’s afraid and he’s an asshole? Bruu... go check Hwi’s ankle breaking, dubcon behavior. He was literally just messing around with Param first but somehow he’s a God to you all lmaooo
Just did, my man. I don’t think I’ve ever felt such repulsion for a character, his story didn’t make me feel an ounce of sympathy.
I wish he’d just disappear
