I don't know why people are confused. He "kidnapped" his best friend because he was in love with him and he was betrothed. Dojin doesn't "remember" the girl because it represents she no longer holding his interest, Soogyum does. (▰˘◡˘▰) Gyum doesn't think his love will be reciprocated and is trying to salvage whatever's left. Or perhaps he cannot bear the platonic status quo but he is willing to try for the sake of not losing him completely. Gyum just can't face him at the moment. It's not stockholm syndrome folks. At least I don't believe so because of the circumstances of being close friends for so long.

I mean, the seme honestly seemed a bit of a drama king because the betrothal thing had not been mentioned until now (we heard there was a girl but not about an engagement).
That was the writer's trick. ;) Lure us in without facts and then, BAM! It was left out on purpose. From the beginning it was just straight to the scene of his capture. Slowly the facts are being fed to us. It's to keep us intrigued because we know manhwas lately are all about the kidnapping and smex trope...Something has to be different to be stand above the rest or at least compete successfully. Some people are already saying they're bored with this one. I guess too much non violence.
Hmm i think itsmore of a plot hole. The marriage wasnt revealed in the dramatic way that most intentional reveals are done. Evenif it was intentional it was poorly executed. Im pretty much bored with it because the story is all over the place. It didn't focus on the kidnapping much, and their past isnt revealed to us in a way that we can connect to. All the story elements and pretty much half baked and flat.
That's why it works for me. ╮(￣▽￣)╭ It's different from all kidnapping manhwas out there. No violence or rape! I am grateful. I like that their past is being revealed slowly and tidbits like him being engaged too. I guess we just don't like the same stuff. That's okay too. Yes, i wanted to see them in college and living together but I think this was okay too. They both grew and their love saved each other in the end it's what truly matters. The ending was like a real one and that's why were are left wanting, needing more. Thank you sensei and translators. Some people need to grow up and join maturity. It's nice I promise. Maya left because a really sick friend needed him. He lied in order to protect Nemu from his insecurities. How quickly people forget Maya gives Nemu strength and gives him confidence. He's been there for him. How quickly people forget Nemu has hurt Maya in the past as well. He isn't this perfect innocent child. In other words neither are perfect or guilt free. There is lack of communication and both are growing and learning as they go. Just like everyone wants for Maya to tell the innocent truth, because he didn't CHEAT, Nemu just as easily could just say he knows the truth and confront him about it. ╮(￣▽￣)╭ Maya is still King Seme to me. Maya and Nemu are not maturing as a couple in the past chapters. Well there is minimal growth but not completely correcting the issues. Maya has been developing quite well with his family issues but he is still immature at times with Nemu. Meanwhile, Nemu spoils Maya by being too supportive and understanding. Being too nice is not healthy as well. Nemu needs to stand up and put Maya on his ground. That will help Maya but most importantly himself. I see Ruka as any other occupation one has to dedicate themselves to but just like any working person, one needs to learn how to balance their work and personal lives. Maya has to earn everything on his own, while Nemu doesn't have to worry about his, just his students' welfare. They are not exactly on equal ground right now so they would have to adjust together.

I can agree about Maya needing to grow more and Nemu as well. He does have to work for everything as where Nemu doesn't. Nemu does need to gain confidence and find his voice but I don't necessarily blame Maya for it either. They do need to find their balance because it is different for every couple.
Their relationship issues were not caused by each other. They have been like that since before with minimal increments. But they are not growing because of each other. I guess Sensei wanted to focus on stuff outside their relationship first which they were doing and improving well but as couple, same old thing. That's why I am liking this drama right now because they need it, especially if Maya's Dad comes back and possibly tries to break them apart or Nemu's parents, who were never involved in their relationship. I think they are still clueless that their son is gay. They were known to be strict so just imagine if they find out.
To be fair, in my opinion, they have grown. Not to the point where they need to be as individuals or as a couple but progress nonetheless. That's right. I had forgotten about that. Well, when I read something, it's pretty normal I react to the actions of the characters. But I mean, I love assholes characters. I think Alex is frigging awful for not having the most basic consideration for DG (like, how did he even manage to put it in at all, really)

Don't think because I bitch about a character's actions that it means I dislike them as character or I wanted the story to be different. It's just plain normal as readers to judge the events of a story by our morals and values and in result, experience some sort of feelings and reaction. That's the magic of reading!

I think a lot of people spoil this with comments a lot lately. It's always extreme views: all about morals or all about accepting whatever is happening in the story and move on. None of those stances are fun at all!
I LOVE getting outraged and then see assholes want to eat their fingers when they realized they fucked up big time.
For example, what I'd love to see happen is Alex's reputation and nice guy personality suffer at uni because he can't keep it in his pants. So he decides to distance himself but the sexual frustration drives him crazy and irritable. So all his friends, happy to spend time with him again, are all "what's wrong with you?/what crawled up your ass?' or something. I can tell Alex isn't honest but his body seems a good way to tell what he's on about.
Just wait and see! The guy is gonna ruin himself like an idiot and I can't wait! For now, DG doesn't know him well, but once he starts to get the guy better and finally see beyond his bluff... oh it's gonna be glorious.
