I think the fact that her husband right down ignored her added to her depression, we all know that mental health isn't a thing back then so probably the mc doesn't know what she is feeling plus the fact that all misfortune all came to her at once, her fathers death, father in law, harsen murdering people right and left plus her sisters miscarriage, she probably bottled up all her thoughts and emotions, and when all that shit happend to her, the container for her emotions couldn't take it anyomre so she sought to find another vessel for that container and that is true hating her son because she believed tjat after she gave birth she lost everything her prestige, her beauty ( thr only thing she is proud of so far). I gotta say the husband didn't do his duty , i know its because of the "best choice" thing but sometimes you gotta man up and confess to your feelings my good sir! You know all the shitty things happening around your wife yet you couldn't do a single thing! Im pissed off at harsen and felt pity to the unstable mc and the child
even if she did express her feelings there's a chance that she'd get brushed off saying "you're too sensitive " or "you're overreacting " or "your life is perfect you have no reason to be this was you're just selfish" etc which is a another reason why she can't say anything

The uke is kinda unstable he doesn't explain anything to the seme making thinga ao confusing hea afraid to be hurt but can hurt others so easily like he's a confusinh character so far. For now I kinda hate his personality although the first chapter was awesome
