the class president's brother is a pedophile freak. prior to the accident, taekin saw his friend about to be a victim of the brother across from him, which is why he ran into the street (to prevent it), & he got hit as a result. those are the only spoilers i'm aware of that i've read through other mangago comments. iirc, the ending is generally a happy one - unsure if it's satisfactory or realistic (aka unsatisfactory) in the regards of legal consequences to the brother though

BEAT HIM UP!! but also genuinely, minjae has been so smart & quick with his actions to settle the matter silently behind the scenes, while heechan & his lovely friends have done such a wonderful job to help taekin, find the pieces of taekin, & do so much to show taekin there are people waiting for him. these things are so easily taken for granted by the self, especially when there's such a gigantic looming problem that devours every little bit of your will to live, so heechan & his friends did a great job in showing taekin. ntm, j the fact that taekin lasted that long... i hope it's proof that taekin is listening & also has hope in them & is growing better
