Don't know if you ever were bullied but personally I did, and there's nothing pleasant in having everyone talking shit about you behind your back or directly telling you. It's easy to say to ignore the rumors and such, but when you're in the position of the victim, you're realize it's not that simple.
Moreover, in Asian country, especially Korea and Japan, being left aside by people/society is kind like a death sentence. It's insane the number of people who kill themselves because of this, and sometimes it's start with something as ridiculous that just a rumors.
Yeah been bullied plenty when growing up, how I got into a lot of fights and I know it's different in Asian countries but guess thought grow out of it when you become an adult
