I HATE THE EMPEROR SO MUCH. so I'll try to summarise; basically the emperor and the empress will meet during the hunting competition and suddenly a group is assassins come (yes, Rose was the one who sent them but she never thought the emperor would be at the same place with the empress) they fought together and suddenly a poisoned arrow hit the emperor so the empress did everything she could to save him like jumping into a river, suck out the poison,risk her life trying to find an antidote in the forest, give him warmth etc before the empress escaped the assassins, she asked them who sent them. Because the assassins was very sure that the empress would be killed, they answered it was Rose. FUCKING HELL THE EMPEROR WAS UNCONSCIOUS DURING THIS TIME. Fast forward time, the emperor fell into a coma, Rosa was locked in a dungeon and the empress had to do all the work. However, there was no physical evidence to point out that rose was the one who did it PLUS there was a noble who kept protecting her during meetings. What I hate the most, the moment the emperor wake up, he told her to SPARE ROSEMOND'S LIFE !$!_!$+_+$; even though anyone who try to harm the royal family should be beheaded. HE KNEW ROSE SENT THE ASSASINS BUT LOVE IS BLIND I GUESS. The Emperor was only dissapointed that there was another side of rosemond and that's it. EVEN THOUGH ROSE TRIED TO START A WAR BEFORE AND NOW ALMOST KILLED HIM AND FHE EMPRESS. I feel so bad for the empress because she kept saying that no matter what her status is, she is no one without the emperor's favour. There's more drama to the story but I try to summarise it :) btw the emperor got hit by the arrow because he was trying to protect the empress but he was confused why he did that even though he know that he should not die since he is the last pure bloodline of the royal family and if the empress died, rose can become the empress. *Rolls eyes* is this how the author going to make the romance spark because I hope there's another king to marry the empress cuz I feel sorry for her to go through all this shit. The Emperor knew the empress saved him and he knew rose is the one who hired the assassins. But he ask the empress the spare Rose's life. Since there's no physical evidence and there was a interference from a noble during trial, Rose was only strip off her tittle as the baroness since she's the main suspect. Even after all of that, he still kissed and act as he usually would with Rose. Im still reading the novel, it seems like the emperor has a trauma & still has terrible nightmare even until now. maybe rose helped him through his traumatic event before that's why he loves her so much. From what I'm reading now, rose is greedy for a tittle so she wants the noble that protected her during the trials to adopt her as his daughter. Rose is really cunning and she has many tricks on her sleeves. Rose will depart to her home to ask for her father consent (initially, she thought it was better to kill him so the adoption process would be easier) and now she won't be in the palace for 2-3 weeks so I guess this is where all the romance start

finally finished the avaible chapters of the novel and lol seems like the emperor had a tragic background and also rose (I won't tell tho) So that's why they connect immediately and why she's special. They both understand each other the most. However, now the emperor starts hesitating to answer whether he loves rose or is it sympathy all this time from the start. There's a scene where the empress was able to make the emperor cry. Not even rosemond was able to do that. Turns out, Rose actually plan everything from the start. she knew about the emperor's past so she used her tragic story to manipulate the emperor when they first met. I guess, I see romance sparking, the emperor is the main lead after all ugh I wished there was another man tbh. When the emperor told rose background to the empress, the empress also pitied her bUT ALL OF THAT DOES NOT JUSTIFY HER CRUEL ACTIONS IW ANR HER GONE
Man just cause she’s pitiful doesn’t mean her actions are valid, she almost started a war like ???? Red flags? Honestly I need another male character to start some rivalry

In the novel, the technician (her) is called a traitor by everyone in the country because when she goes missing, everything goes downhill and the enemy seems to have her technology. The male lead was also so depressed as he waits for her everyday. Since Shes so smart, she made something like a VR headset to go back to the novel world again and she succeed. As soon as she returns to the castle the guards capture her and God the male lead was so shock to see her. One scene, he even ask her to kill him if she's really a spy anyway, after that there will be LOTS of jeaolousy scene :) that's it that I've read. Im scared for the ending because idk if she'll go back to her real world or stay with the main lead :(

This manga has such a beautiful plot line and character development. Anyway, I think I can now look forward to some romantic development now ? (ノ≧∇≦)ノ Team Hime & Hamuro all the way. I'm sure there will be a love triangle with Hasegawa senpai or will Akira finally develop feelings for Hime after knowing her feelings for him all these years and seeing other guys taking her away? But Honestly, I want another love interest for Akira so that Hime and Akira maintain their friendship. Hsjhs so many possibilities, can't wait for new updates!
