I kinda felt the same to an extent. I don’t know much about Korean culture and how important relationships are, and BLs and manhwa can only help so far before it just bleeds fictional. From what I get, higher ups (sunabe right? I tend to mix them up) are supposed to get a crap ton of respect, so if they were to pester for a picture (like the random men typically do in BL) then it could make things worse for someone as sensitive as Haeboom for sure. I do wish they spoke on the subject of their relationship more thoroughly though. Love should cause no feeling of shame, but if it needs to be hidden for personal safety or income, then they need to do what’s right for them (they’re also fairly young without much experience so I think that could get in their way too).

BUT I do recall that neither of them talked about how they should react if their relationships are being interrogated. i finished read the recent chp the first thing i think of sawamura will get subbed out on the 2nd half of the inning maybe 6/7th inning (either cuz he is getting cornered by ichidai or he gets too tired cuz he is going full power since the 1st inning like when he playe against seiho in practice game when miyuki absent) then sawamura get replaced by kawakami who later make everything worse cuz he is injured like lost few runs then nori get subbed out and the coach throw out furuya as the hero of all that saved seidou.. fck this shit if it really happen like i predicted... is it too much to wish 1 game just like when sawamura play against hakuryuu or seiho? 1 game in official match that sawamura put 100% percent of everything he learn in the past without any BS or clowning moment like in the beginning of koushien arc? terajima is sawamura hidden anti... everybody notice that since season 1

really know how to make that entrance.. he really showed up at the last chapter just to flaunt that argentina is the 4th best in the country and have been winning against japan in 2 consecutive match to the point that japan need to bring back hinata for the next match .....but overall imo, for a great manga like haikyuu, i still think the ending is rushing too much, the pace of story after nationals arc really are all over the place and its a shame cuz haikyuu at the beginning have an amazing pace of story.. thats the reason why the reader is invested with other player than MC.. this manga could be 10/10..
