the storyline seemed so conventional and even creepy at first. i seriously started to believe this would end up like any other josei fantasy mangas where its all sex just not in a modern setting. but the way the author lay the flashbacks and everything he went through its almost too painful to imagine. what a great story i cant wait for more updates

i never understand these korean comics that end the story only to post "side-stories" that ultimately have more chapters than the main story afaik side-stories are just to tie the story into a pretty bow not make it look like we missed something incredibly important in the plot. i love finding out about yvonne's 2nd pregnancy and i dont want the story to end but the fate of zachary's brother being in the side-stories is just beyond me

I think this is a Korean classification and publishing thing. From what I understand this story was adapted from a novel. Publishing etc. only funds/approves 1season/main storyline depending on how popular the novel is they will decide if additional season or side stories will be added. That’s why it feels disjointed because the author was limited to 1 season to tell the story unlike most western novels where the writer will be contracted to do a 3’book series or something

i feel like youd be able to sympathize and empathize with their situations to a degree if and only if you've been in a similar situation. Like- news flash: addictions are real but I'm no expert so idk to what extent does the story do these medical conditions any justice. It could be blown out of proportion?? But the fact remains that it's an interesting af story with great af art.

reminds me of a documentary that aired in my country. an old man was working as a drag model and he was being interviewed while wearing what he usually wears on stage. he explained how he and his lover met when they were at the seminary, aiming to become priests. they ended up leaving to be with each other but he broke up with his lover saying he couldn't give him biological children and he believed God would never let them be. on the day of his lover's wedding his lover was at his doorstep. they layed in bed together until the guy told his lover to go to his wife. his lover now has children of his own. the old man starts crying during the interview saying he sacrificed their love because he knew his lover would never be content/happy had they stayed together
this is gonna be a turning point for minato's attitude. although im sure it wont manifest immediately considering how young he is, he's definitely learning to be less selfish as shown when he gave his favorite toy to hazuki
