i definitely agree with this comment ( https://www.mangago.zone/home/mangatopic/14828789/) i didnt know how to word the same opinion without it appearing holistic since i dont hate the story at all. just disappointed ig cause the way it came off at first, edith seemed like she'd be badass but in a way thats tactical. like- fake crying then smirking at her opponent kind of tactical. it really does feel like shes just succumbing to whatever's happening which is a contrast to many isekais rn where the mc is constantly grovelling or atleast pulling tricks just to survive. at this point in the story she hasnt done anything mc-worthy and im seeing killian more instead

imo she just doesnt see who the villain is yet. she didnt let herself get stepped on during the time she was getting framed and kept her ground!! she just didnt suspect that lize was the villain since theres no obvious reason why should would (since edith only knows her as the fl who loves cliff) and getting on anyones bad side from the house would just get her executed.
the author is literally just digging for scraps after bl alex like- alex was an a**hole that they tried so hard to be redeemable within 1-2 chapters and people fell for it so quick, completely forgetting all the bs he pulled off and jaekyung idek man all he has going for him is the art style youd think after such a successful debut bl comic that the author would get to do a descent storyline that isnt so desperate to please a horny audience. im both disappointed and unsurprised
