this is what will happen once lizzy leaves for her parents' house:
- she talks about her feelings for lucio with her family. she's confused and in denial
- when she returns by carriage, the assasination happens but royal guards appear to save her because she predicted the assassination
- she used a knife/sword to cut herself in order to deepen evidence of what happened
- at the palace, lucio testifies against rosemond because he had heard her talking about the assasination when he was outside her room
- rosemond is sentenced to execution
- upon duchess of ephreny's arrival, she finds the letters between january and rose. not only did those letters contain their plan, it also talked about how the duchess was actually r4ped by the duke when they were younger in order for him to attain the title. she was convinced she loved him and forgot about that night because he made her drunk. this causes the duchess to kick out her husband and his mistress

no. he found out while patrizia left to her parents house. he was gonna talk to rose about their relationship and officially end it or something. then he overheard her talking to her maid so he panicked alot when patrizia arrived safe
no, he see the knights to her. without them she most likely would have died then.
he found out after she left.
Panicked a lot, well thank he, it was a very stressful time I presume. But what if Patrizia didn’t save herself, what would he had done? Cry for his miserable life or how much of a coward he is or would he go into his mistress arms. You know what, he pisses me off (╬￣皿￣)
he sent knights to guard her. i mean- shes the empress. she cant just leave the palace unguarded. at the end of the day she just happened to be a few steps ahead of everyone else and timed it so that more knights would arrive to save her and be witnesses of the assasination. but to each our own ig
again... we said he sent his knights... she was already being guarded and he sent more after finding out about the planned assassination. why are u mad at him for your own hypothetical “what if’s”? he did nothing wrong in this case? and it was also thanks to the knights he sent that saved her.
