when rosalia (the young girl with peach hair) first met shin in chap 68 https://www.mangago.zone/read-manga/king_s_maker/uu/ibx_chapter-68/pg-20/ shin wasn't able to actually introduce himself as the minister yet. it's basic courtesy to go "I'm Daenerys Targaryen from the house Targaryen" when you meet someone for the first time right? but since everything was going too fast and shin got preoccupied and confused, he couldn't do that. then rosalia just went and told him she couldn't marry him because she was going to become the head of their house. so saying "I was rejected before I even introduced myself" is LITERAL. assuming in a joking way that shin was willing to marry her, he was rejected before he could even properly give her his name
I was thinking like this too when I read him said that. I even laugh bcs it was funny for me as I've got an impression that he was joking about being rejected by that girl.
theres always two routes to a bl:
1. they start dating in the first 10 chapters then the rest of the story is gonna focus on their relationship, or
2. the story's gonna be about them getting together in the 60th chapter
so far i think it's the latter
