I highly recommend Be The Actor!! There’s no game like system but there is regression. Super heartwarming, great characters, amazing art, and so far no romance besides a few ppl having crushes on the MC but that’s not a main focus

it's a fucked up start for sure.
but there is a redemptive arch to both the MC and the ML.
most importantly, the ML realizes he fucked up, and feels remorse. like, remorseful to the point where he chooses to removed himself from directly being in the MC life (while still making sure he had everything he needs,) because he realises how toxic he was. that's a huge overhaul of the male ego, and especially in the Omegaverse universe, the Alpha pride trope is frustrating as hell to rationalize away.
Also the MC, despite all the shit he's been through, realizes that the ML pushed him out of his depression -- that overbearing aggressive nature that demanded ALL of his attention, while (over time) also giving him space to breath and to stay healing ... (let's be honest, ML wore the MC down, but that also has it's place in rebooting the MC back into his humanity.)
there really is so much to human nature beyond "you hurt me so you must die"

What we instinctively look for is Trust, Dependence, security .. love doesn't always come first, and the meaning of love will change over time, but to earn/have someone's trust is possibly one of the most intimate ways in which to build a relationship, romantic or platonic...
I might be reading WAY TOO much into this, but I think this story is about trusting ones self .. fighting for happiness .. and holding on to the hope that not everything is made of shit.

It’s true that what the ML did at first was really messed up, but I regret what I said ╥﹏╥. Please don’t let Taeju disappear; I love his character development. The plot was amazing and made me sob so much. When Euihyun faced how hard and difficult life was, it was through Taeju and Euiyoung that he realized life is beautiful and worth living. This isn’t the typical omegaverse story where everything is easily resolved. I love how Taeju recognized the harm he had caused Euihyun but didn’t neglect his responsibility to him. I just love this manhwa. It was so heavy that I couldn’t go on with my day without finishing it. There was such relief when I read the last part. I loved the flow. Euihyun and Euiyoung deserve every good thing on earth; they didn’t deserve what they’ve been through. Please give Euihyun the jellyfish dreams again, and please give them the life they deserve, author. Huhuhu.
