i enjoy reading about a one-sided romance, especially when the younger one is so totally in love and the older one is oblivious. it’s a romance you know will never happen because of the age difference but you root for it anyway and that’s the appeal! it borders itself between forbidden and fluff and i’ll eat it up every single time.
BUT this story stopped being that when the 17 y/o continues to engage the ten year old despite knowing abt his romantic feelings. and to me and my morals it’s not ok even in fiction, and to others that’s what they read for, and honestly i dont gaf . but with the direction this is headed theyre gonna be in a relationship and while like yess i was rooting for tsubaki, it wouldve felt less weird if the feelings werent reciprocated ..
