I also had to get used to it XD But I apreciate it because it's historicaly accurate. For some reason which I still try to discover (and each source says smth different but either way they still don't know why) japanese men liked being bald XDDD And they were hardly ever some handsome guys with long fluffy hair that are drawn in mangas XD We wish it was true but it isn't XD I think some Ronins didn't shave their heads (but I'm not sure, don't take my word for it XD) but most men, even peasant did that. So even though it kind of looks weird I love that it's a try to portrait a realistic japanese, bold gay couple from few hudred years ago
