I think they did, I can't remember this part well but I think they did cuz in the end, mutations has became stable and they can stay sane. Lou Feng, among others reunited with An Ze in the abyss. I can't remember this part much because I was things were so intense and was focusing on An Ze and Lou Feng getting reunited (￣∇￣"). Just take this one with a grain of salt but him being alive is true since he's the first person An Ze encountered when he went back to the abyss. Hubbard managed to survive in the end too so I think they did meet.
