I knew what you meant but I dont really understand why, his view was pretty spot on. The fact dani feels inferior and is already troubled because she is friends with the four kings. He wants to separate them for dani's well being.
The only problem is she din't consent to any of his antics. Tho it doesnt seem like most people hate him for that.
I really like his character. Hes basically a overprotective mother but doesnt take account of their child's reasons and thinks what's best for them instead of letting them think for themselves.
