Love how Heewon’s basically going against “fate” or whatever destiny there’s planned out for him and still wants the hyung. You go gangster man!

I think its pretty fucked up actually. He’s willing to make his actual soul mate suffer twice to be with someone he probably only likes because of his bad karma. Now not only does he know hangyul has to be without him, he’s killing his new chance of happiness with the guy his threaded to now so can get with his only family. It’s pretty fucked up if you ask me.

I don’t think he’s intentionally trying to make Hangyul “be without him”. It looked to me like he saw the hyung and instantly fell for him rather than for the little brother.
It also doesn’t seem fair that he force himself to be with someone else just because a shaman says his actual fated one is someone else. His string of fate is broken and Heewon just fell in love with someone else and Hangyul did the same.
I just hope they each end up with the one they love. We’ll see what happens, I guess.

K, so I’m going to guess that they both regressed but Iheon is the only one who was supposed to have his memories in tact but lost them until the bathroom/tub drowning scene, when he regained them. Huimon remembers, but he remembers from a made up 3rd party’s point of view (reader) to protect his psyche.
I am wondering if Junyeong also regained his memory since Iheon seems very adamant about him not having ANY sort of contact with Huimon, outside of jealousy. Like he’s afraid whatever information Junyeong had may hurt Huimon in some way.
On the other hand if it isn’t regression and everything turns out to be their past, then I would assume they both had an accident/“death” incident forcing Iheon to forget and Huimon to develop a second personality to cope. The “future” knowledge from the novel may just be information that Huimon had access to pre-dissociation, and the auction scene at the beginning could actually be what happened after the accident/“death” incident after they lost their memories, where the stepfather took Huimon and sold him off after he no longer had Iheon’s “protection”. The future rape/abuse could all just be memories from Huimon’s past at Iheon’s hands and he simply thought he should try to avoid that “future” from ever happening.
I should just read the novel..
I don’t know about anyone else, I am getting manipulative vibes from Nick. He’s basically doing what he wants, and coercing Owen into “choosing” what he (nick) wants as well. I’m gonna have to read the novel and see if he gives off the sames vibes.
Any update for that novel?
