this is such a good story! The ml background that lead him to become how he is, the way he’s just a pawn to be played by.. there’s no right or wrong per say cuz there’s no villain here in this story. Love it

I just cannot wrap my head around people glossing over the plentiful scenes where it literally shows Eugene going insane because he is confusing his own survival with love. Well looking at the raws it definitely doesn’t look like he is using Eugene for something. He’s also realizing it himself that he cares more about Eugene than he thought. He’s also discovering what’s going on with Eugene (something that was recent in the laziest chapters) and taking care of him. Last I checked some didn’t need Eugene for anything. There’s plenty of other vampires to hunt and he doesn’t even know what’s the deal between him and the master. I think dom wanted to just have fun and play along to see what Eugene was planning. Since it’s Eugene that had more of the benefits in their arrangement.

After rereading this manhwa, I feel so so bad for yoonho cuz I think he’s in therapy because he can’t handle Sooyeon (and there was lots of comments predicting that Yoonho may or may not killed Sooyeon and I think he didn’t cuz he would be wearing different clothing okay that’s not the point TT) and if you read in chapter one, you could already tell that Sooyeon was gonna be crazy since he was snickering and saying “don’t cry, seeing you cry breaks me heart” and from that on we could tell he probably doesnt really care for Yoonho and was just playing with him (but ALSO it could probably just be Yoonho’s imagination but idk) I just wanna say I feel bad for Yoonha
Ps yes he may be a doormat but he did clarify that he was raised to forgive and forget and said that he trusted the prof too easily :/ poor him (but I also think he should’ve just given up on sooyeon and break things off before it could get any worse.. but we could already that’s not gonna happen cuz this whole thing is his memories that he’s telling to the therapist/psychiatrist)
I don’t think sooyeon went crazy too me the snickering felt more like a pain-chuckle more than anything, not to mention sooyeon also had tears coming out of his eyes
