i think ive read a story before about the author enter their own creation. but something about this feels more personal for me as someone who once diligently wrote and even foolishly believed that taking a course on writing would empower me. but now, I'm suffering from a slump who can simply enjoy or critique what other writers can do, which is produce a story.
Here’s what i like about this. first, the ability of characters to develop. indeed, that's like the element of reality. these are supposedly people with their own set of rules in a world we call fiction but a reality for those who exists in it. second, the vital devotion to plot conference cohesiveness. consistency and logic must abide to the premise set in the story and it means being aware of whatever is made known, no matter how little their role might seem to be. third, tension. during the last arc I was tempted to scroll past through the action because I was feeling the tension of whether they'd succeed or not. of course a happy end is a given but I wondered what sacrifices will be made and how it would unfold. and it's so satisfying.
i do wish to get over my slump since it's vital for graduating anyway. but well, that means having to devote myself back to the basics hahaha
(〜 ̄△ ̄)〜 you can do it bro. I feel the same way you do. I was very fond of writing before. I like to write and draw characters of my novel. But the color of my visions turned black. Sort of a depression. So here am I just reading other people's work and just idk, judging I think. I cant seem to write as I did before. I just accepted it and focused on other things thou I feel empty. Haha
i applause the author's creativity. besides, it's like a creative criticism of old cliche shoujos where the protag is so ridiculously saintly with a harem of men bowing to her bidding. also, it is nice how the "detached" character of Latte is addressed, coz she didn't think it was her life or that it's not reality. not until she thought she was gonna die.
also yea, they're a perfect match lmao. she has a sadistic streak. but, what happened to the crown prince tho? and of iberin after that talk? well... we might never know because Latte is the protagonist now, it's about her (but, hasn't it been always about her anywah HAHAHA... i lowkey wanna know what happened tho)

The prince was a piece of shit and so was Ibelin! She married the prince, and he treated her like she deserved: he isolated her, told her that she had the position she ever wanted, and to no except for him to love her. She still believed that she was the main girl in everyone's life. The years passed by the Duke married someone who he loved, and it was a woman! Latte was his maid of honor!(:
The prince and Ibelin had a boy and until then she never changed. Once the child was born, was she able to change and so her relationship with the prince got better and she matured. ╮( ̄▽ ̄)╭
Arwin and Latte continued to be happy with their children while being the masters of the magic tower.
Yeah, I kinda agree.
This story was basically telling you ignore that trash takes itself out with their actions.
There was 2 reasons why the prince was at Latte's wedding: 1)The princess, and 2) he enjoys Latte's unique personality-- similar to Arwin.
The prince would have never found out Ibelin's true nature if Latte had never interacted with Ibelin nor the 3 MLS for that matter. Just how Arwin realize how foolish was to be attracted to a stupid woman, just how the Duke realize that he didn't really want to protect Ibelin, the Prince realize that she was faking not being intrested and being aloof.
I kinda agree that it would've been interesting if their story was also add, but that would mean that Ibelin was one of the main characters but she was not. This was a story of how the main character foolishly believed Ibelin to be the mvp who was innocent and loved and protected by all the 3 mls. Once Latte realized that she was going to die, she notice that Arwin had not killed her because of Ibelin but because of her own effort, she realize that she had a love interest and it was one of the mls! She was happy and wanted Ibelin to be happy for her, but we know how that went off.
Due to Latte's personality and looking at everyone as if it was a play where the audience interact. Even if Latte never did what other reincarnated mc did, she still grabbed the attention of the mls and the fl hated her for that.
I disagree about adding Ibelin story with the prince because she was irrelevant to Latte and Arwin's happiness. However, if the author decides to make side stories I would also like a story about Latte's maid and the sorcerer who likes popcorn. How did they get married.
hahaha yeah! latte totally broke ibelin's delusions. that confrontation scene is like the best meta-breaking moment for me. besides, im in love with how even if she got the other leads' attention, it wasn't like a harem. she only broke the illusion which Ibelin, as the novel's protag, caused. it's as if they became truer to their personality (because we know how most romance fics just force characters together).
and totally want to see the development between that sorcerer and Latte's maid, too!
Dude where did you read this how did you know that?? I wanna them babiesssss
Also on the prince's part? Totally understandable. In fact from Latte's pov, there was never a prince redemption arc. She was only close to the princess, which, I kinda worry for her future as a royal but hey, as long as she's happy (づ ̄ ³ ̄)づ
Well, there are no records on the baby's name but they did mention that she appears in another manwha as a mage. Unfortunately, it was never mentioned where in what manwha that was. Perhaps it isn't out yet?
Anways, the baby looks exactly like Arwin with Latte's personality. He loves her very much he kept working on giving the baby brothers and sisters until one of them looks and has Latte's personality. Latte is so loved!!
Lol.
From what it is revealed from the novel, he loves the children because deep down they have something from latter that resembles her. So, each kid makes him reminiscing old memories of when he found out he liked Latte. So everyday... he falls in love with Latte and wishes for a day that he gets his wish granted: a baby who looks like and has the personality of the woman he will forever love.
before everything else, this story is amazing! well paced, solid characters, cohesive plot (rather detail riddled and i was sometimes confused because of the names), complete (meaning it concludes satisfyingly). now to my rambles....
women and men are both equipped with masculinity and femininity. Stereotypically, men are "men" due to their masculine physical strength, rationality, logic, and assertive dominance. Meanwhile, women are pictured with feminine delicateness, gentle, and empathy. Edna, who is reared to be male, nurtured her masculine side in strength, cold rationality, and boldness. Still, her delicate side is present as she adore the females around her and is jealous of their dresses and quaint privilege.
The moment she manifested her empathy and logic, she was able to aide the people. Like a carrot and a stick, she knew what her people needed while disciplining them to know exactly how to get what they need. This is a perfect strong female lead because it doesn't cancel her femininity nor does it overly exalt her masculinity.
To be honest, I do feel like Eli didn't live up to his name because there were little opportunity to show his beastly side. However, he also shows his feminine side when he becomes gentle around Edna. It's actually a little more exaggerated when we think of a man's femininity, we think of effiminate or "girly". But the truth is, the same empathy and gentleness which is expected from females are the femininity also found in men, because it exemplies their emotional side.
Maybe because I have no brains for medicine and I have been mindlessly sweeped by the story hence the lack of observing details. But yeah, there are inconsistencies in world building and the ambiguity of which medical technology is present or has yet to be taken because it somehoe whatever she did was passable and smoothly contrived without raising too much suspicion. Along with her medical expertise is the addition of supernatural magic gifted to Linden's family and the thing about Aura knights. It feels rather useless and convenient only for flair.
Nonetheless, it just gives me beautiful feelings and it took a perspective that is quite timely in appreciating the medical field and staff especially because she focused on epidemiology.
i couldnt stop reading that's for sure.
There's really nothing wrong with Mizuro's indecisiveness here. Her intentions change with her environment yet all the same grounded with what she can do. She wanted to go home because she thought her time ran parallel with earth. Hence, she wanted to be an adventurer and learn how to adapt while also trying to leave. However, her attachment and the knowledge that she could return in peace, gave her the resolute to make use of her power to be helpful in the society and class she was in. Even with the demon king, she wasn't rash with her decisions. Independent women doesn't mean being separate with men, it means being true to yourself and capable of deciding for yourself. Besides, it's insensitive to think that just because female leads become somewhat reliant to men or are woo-ed by men, they are not strong anymore. And what's wrong with being girly? Female femininity is almost always looked down on but it empowers delicate kindness and maternal-like instincts to be gentle and empathic.
im starting to think that female masculinity has become the stereotypical 'strong and independent women', but it only further imposes the narrative that women should be more like men to be considered independent or powerful.
Yeah.. also, we are still influenced by the patriarch mindest that masculinity is power. Which is why before female empowerment was being a female boss or a woman who makes men bow. I'm glad that there are more narratives embracing a woman's choice. Patriarchy have always oppressed women's capability of choice for themselves, often even because women themselves frown upon choices that are not traditional like childbirth, marriage, and other gender roles.
Of course, patriarchy also affects men in terms of gender roles, but we can't deny men having a privilege just by being male.
also yeah, women doesn't have to be like men, but it doesn't mean they can't be if they wanted to or are simply capable of being like a man. physically and/or mentally, there are women who are stronger than men. their difference from birth are only their sex organs, their strength is unique to themselves whether it's physiology or psychology. :)
Ive said this before and I'll say it again. Maki did quite a great job being Yukinara's support. I'm still enduring the stress of having had almost the whole community shut Yukinara out and judging him and justifying it as their stress and anxiety because his father collapsed or because he didn't "look the part". All they did was treat him as an emotional punching bag.
(I'm still pissed that Yukinara is being expected to know things at the get go. Screw them. However, it highlighted Yukinara's character so much that he is almost a saint in my eyes.) Yukinara and Maki being happy is the best thing! Their relationship is so wholesome and adorable.

how long will she have that bandage on her cheek? how is it not healing after a year? and why is it that i had such great expectations about her past and feel a little hallow right now...
and yeah sure the easy slip to transferring lmao. but i do get the gist of the story, but not exactly feeling the tension and depth of the drama. it needs more chapters to fill in the blanks because they basically just ended it in a flash.
