I think many thought the author is forcing Nagi narrative. but tbh in my pov he's indespensable. being egoistic is fine and all but moving forward they'll move as a team and there's only a few pawns that Isagi can use freely. Like his circle. Baru and Rin, they're really solos. Isagi egoist is his desire to win the game and baru and rin is bombs hard to control. compare to nagi who knows how to pass but building his own ego.

Tbh, he's really the one fits the position. Many members just go their own way, whole Chungwoo was able to fit into each members.
