As much as i can see that he truly cares for Adele, its not a reason for him to suddenly become a dick and blame everything on the grand duke. As Adele said herself, She wants this and is nor being dragged into this by the grand duke. She is merely doing this to fight for her freedom as a human with her fiancé. I agree with kags here. While yes I think they're putting too much into the romance but there is no sexualization going on here. It's just childish, clumsy affection. It's a little too much at times but little boys can be just as pushy.
