me too girl it’s really confusing but according to my perspective what it seems to have happened was ugetsu being more in love with music than being in love with aki. Don’t get me wrong he loved aki too but he loved music more and he couldn’t reach his goals entirely if he devoted himself to aki he wasn’t able to do both so he strung aki along the whole time because he was afraid of being alone and afraid that music may not be enough for him which ultimately led to the relationships downfall or that’s just what it seems like to me hope this helps a little :)

yupp!! this actualy makes a lot more sense to me i kinda have the same thought process as you and what u just described^ i think at the end of the day ugetsu realized he loved music more than he loved akihiko so him having to balance out both was too overwhelming for him and in the end he chose music (and to be honest i’m so glad he did lmaoo i hate akihiko)
also another point i realized abt their relationship is that they both seemed to be living in their memories not in the present,, the reason their relationship took so long to finaly end was bcuz they both didn’t want to let go of the good memories of love they had together in the past

Powerbottoms are the same as dom bottoms/bottoms. Never did I once assert that he wasn’t a power bottom. Also the implications of saying “despite not being the one putting it in, he’s still the top and the dom” allude towards a conflation between two different terms. Power bottoms are bottoms. Your logic is like - "why would the term sadistic domme exist in the first place if domme already exists?" A power bottom is a BOTTOM that likes to take control. They are a bottom that takes control, and power is a descriptive word, just like sadistic or gentle dommes have a descriptive word before domme as an indicator of their preferred dynamic.
