There's a novel, read it so you can understand what's happening. The first season of the anime is over and the second is gonna be out at the end of the year i think so if you want the full story you should read the novel. It's complete btw

Yes it has but it's to the end, you should read both mo dao zu shi and heaven official's blessing. The novels is complete and it's worth reading even if they're long, they have really good stories(again, sorry for my English)
