I especially love that her character development isn't moral back pedaling, telling us that she needs to have a man in her life in order to be whole and happy. That she mustn't be herself AND happy at the same time.Rright now, she's no longer tormented like she was before; I adore her state of mind, shown in expressions and decisions. True delight expressed by her, not because she assumed the role of "soft, feminine, giving, unassuming, irresolute" - but because she could be compassionate towards herself without stumbling into self-pity, opening up the route to be compassionate towards others without changing herself forcefully.

It was an okay manga for me, I was honestly very unsatisfied with a lot of things in the book. Especially the one abt the friend when he tried to rape him and they still accepted him as their friend at the end. I hated that guy, he could rot in hell for all I care so annoying.
I’m just so frustrated with Haruki and Akihiko, I really didn’t want them to end up together and I hate hate hate Akihiko’s ex. My heart just hurts for Haruki so much. Ya they’re together but him being used by Akihiko everytime he had an argument with his ex and when he almost got raped by him, ugh I just cried so hard. I really hate Akihiko but I really love him too. I wanted Haruki to end up with someone better than Akihiko.
After Aki assaulted Haru my heart was broken and I was hoping that he’d leave Haru alone for good after that. Seeing Aki step up and leave that toxic relationship and apologize and change into a more “worthy” partner for Haru left me with such complicated feelings. I was happy for them but also conflicted.

yes finally a break up in a yaoi! I hardly ever see a couple break up, think things over, grow and then see each other again and fix things. It’s always misunderstanding, don’t talk, meet up, have sex and makeup after that they never talk abt the problem don’t fix anything just act like it never happened.
this just isn’t a good story, it’s plain sad feel bad for the guy who got possessed felt like he was just being used by both of them
I think that’s part of what makes it a good story, you kinda go through the emotions of being used, all while the MC realizes he likes the bf
this was just a sad story, even tho the teacher made it clear he didn’t like him but he kept going back to him and giving him hope abt their relationship when it didn’t work out with his friend. Also I don’t think they were meant for each other, I don’t even think he loved him, maybe he liked him or felt a little sum for him but I don’t think it was love. It just seemed like he grabbed onto him once he thought he was gonna lose him since the seme was gonna give up on him. I don’t think they should’ve ended up together, should’ve just went their separate ways.

I’m so confused to why everyone is hating on the seme, first the uke never clarified the relationship with the seme and second the seme didn’t sleep with anyone (an incident did almost happen but he rejected her at the end) also the other girls are coming onto him and he’s clearly rejecting them but they’re being annoying and persistent. Also the uke kept rejecting the seme and I really thought how cute the seme was when he’s all abt the uke and stuff. I really liked this manga.
I'm glad you liked the manga but there are just some parts that don't sit well with me and for the others as well. Yes, Takahiro (uke) never clarified the relationship, but Kazushi (seme) also always seemed to pursue him romantically and sexually, nor did he clarify it either so it was easy for Takahiro to assume that they were in a dating relationship. Especially when Kazushi addresses him as the person he loves and says how they do not want to be away from each other. Though I could see how Kazushi's love can differ from Takahiro's, I really did not like the fact he puts his feelings for Kazushi's as the same thing he had for the other girls (friends with benefits), when obviously he likes Kazushi more than his body at the start. Kazushi just assumes right away that they are FWB since he does not know what else to define those feelings except as "dirty" and at the same time I'm sad that Kazushi doesn't see that Takahiro values him much more than that and he seems satisfied with it. Plus, though Kazushi does reject the girls, I really do not like the fact for the first one that approaches him he lets them do stuff to him fully aware that Kazushi is right outside the door. I do not mind Kazushi's pervy side and I see that one of his traits that makes him the person he is, but I think it went a bit too far. With Takahiro trying to figure out his feelings and even trying to communicate with Kazushi to help things get sorted out this happens and I would think it would really hurt Takahiro. Of course, this isn't supposed to portray a realistic relationship, but I really wish the author had them actually talk instead of that scene with the girl. I'm no writer but I would have liked for Kazushi to at least apologize to Takahiro in chapter 5 and Takahiro fully shares his feelings at the end. Though alternatively, I would say chapter 1-5 could stay the same. The lack of wording could emphasize their actions more, but I think communication was a big necessity for this type of plot since I just got unsatisfied like "that's it?" "no clarification?" It is inferred that they sort it out afterwards but for us readers, or for me personally, I want to see all the loose strands wrapped up. I would say it would have been more satisfying for me seeing them make pastries together (since it was the thing that brought them together or maybe them uniting the shops together uwu) instead of them having done the nasties and it would show that Kazushi really loves Takahiro for more than his body.

Tbh i just hate him cause he makes everything seem like the uke’s fault. He makes it seem like uke owes him for something and it makes me so mad. His apologizes are half-assed and he relies on the fact that they’re childhood friends to get away with shit. He’s highkey annoying and it just pisses me off that nobody tries to get him to learn. Truth. I used to really like this manga but now that I've read this again, it's fucked up how the uke had to go put a label on their relationship first before the seme. It kinda seemed like the uke was more into their relationship than he was. Seme just seemed like a spoiled brat. Also, lowkey hate the fact that he's a manwhore and he just did the uke like how he did the other girls. I get the feeling that he'd cheat for some stupid reason in the future.
