I think this comic is fucking gold like the story by far is one of the best I have read in a long time because despite being very romantic let you know first and foremost it is a drama and shit is gonna get fucked up. I really love how casually diverse everyone is in terms of body types and sexuality like woah.

Main couple: I think Victor and Yohan are so fucking adorable like at least top 10 main couples in general like Yohan is really great, but I think the downside is that because he’s obviously connected to like the whole thing with his brother which seems like it’s gonna come up in season three we didn’t really get a lot of moments of him that mostly focused on his character, which I’m fine at due to the fact that he is the main character. Season two was specifically more about Victor which I’m really not mad at especially because I feel like he needs the most explanation and time with. I really hope season three shows more of Yohan because relatively he is the least complicated, but I don’t think that’s necessarily a bad thing.

Second couple: Ian and Van are damn near perfect mostly. I like how they were more focused than I thought they would be. I think it would be nice to see Van initially fall in love because as soon as he saw him, he’s just started moving right away, which is relatively crazy but is common for a second couples but I was more surprised with Ian due to the fact that he’s actually more important to the plot than one might assume and how that’s going to come to hide in season three and I kinda love that for him because other than that he would’ve just been the guy who Van randomly fell in love with one day and I’m actually excited to see how season three is going to go with Ian being more important because it’ll be kind of like a catalyst for relationship.

Third couple: Theon and Eden I actually really live for. Like I absolutely need to see more of them especially because Theon’s character and motivations because I really like how even though he’s very much an antagonist no one acts like they can’t see where he’s coming from because it makes sense that he wants to kill the person who killed his father and I love how Eden is there to back him up even if it comes at a detriment to him at some point in time. I hope we also explore Eden a bit more but as he’s the least important part of the third couple, I understand if we don’t.

Additionally, I think all the other background characters like Hozer and victor’s family and such I really well done like I think all of them are interesting in their own way even Jin who would’ve been a really good love story if he wasn’t so fucking crazy

So I know they want us to hate this little brown boy, but I will never be able to hate the character. I love stories like this in concept where the villain from the first half becomes the protagonist on the second half and we get to understand why they did what they did while having them seek a happy end however this is only enjoyable when there is a fall before the rise. If the villain doesn’t get proper consequences, they can’t get a redemption and if they don’t get either then why do we fucking care?

Rereading this makes me feel like I’m watching tangled simply because of the part at the very end of both works with media because she did not have to make that hair so short. I’m so conflicted honestly because he’s genuinely one of my favorite characters in this entire story because he’s definitely one of the most tragic and I feel like death would complete his story perfectly however I don’t want him to die. Like the fact that his family had to die is so unfair. His whole story is so unfair the fact that he had to make all these sacrifices because of his bum uncle. The fact that even if his father wasn’t the way he was, he would’ve still died young because of the curse. Yona makes a good case for the chosen one aka Harry Potter, he makes a good case for not unchosen one aka Katniss like please someone save him because while I like the relationship, those three share it’s very clear that while he’s important to them, he’s only playing second fiddle and I feel like after everything he went through he deserves to feel like he’s number one to someone even if it’s temporarily because I feel like they’re still gonna kill him off

Poor Oleg like for a while he was the only child the only actual child because the FL and the ML are like 20-year-olds in children’s bodies. He’s an actual child, He’s been beat by his father multiple times, He is clearly the unfavorite of his grandfather, nobody really cares about him, and he went from a whipping boy of his father, to whipping boy of his cousin, and he’s definitely not going to be better than her or anything so it’s not like he’s going to get a meaning title like someone please save him I beg! Save me boy!

I thought this story was honestly really amazing and it’s one of the few times where I’d like both the side couple and the main couple the similarly. With the main couple, I thought it was really beautiful how the top loved the bottom in a way that was right each time like he showed up in exactly the way we were at the bottom needed the most and he was always so understanding. I loved how the bottom despite being in his head a lot learn to get out of his head and just appreciate the time he has with the top as well as being able to self the horrible shit he’s going through for his lover. With the side couple, I wanted so much more of their story because I thought it was really good. I loved how absolutely rocky it began mostly due to the bottom because he’s an asshole who was very clearly working through stuff and each time that he needed something, the top would show up for him. He would bend over backwards for him, but he would also remind the bottom of his own personhood.

I love how the series tries to make you think that the two brothers are completely different from each other when you really look at it they’re pretty similar, which makes sense because they spent a lot of their formative years together in the same environment but they are just ever so different mostly in mindset we are the older brother is more guilt bearing, and the younger brother is more guilt escaping. I would’ve loved it if just like how the top helps the older brother to stop carrying the weight of the guilt if the top helps the younger brother to start accepting accountability for his actions because he was doing a lot of fuck shit. I also thought it was nice because the bottoms are both similar that the tops were both similar as they both showed up in similar ways for their partners, however one was more submissive to match a more aggressive bottom. I think it was crazy that they were coworkers and they never share a screen together.

I definitely think that now that both the brothers have moved on from their one-sided love of someone and formed a happy relationship with someone else that reconciliation is possible. I definitely think a meeting between the two will be accidental and a bit messy but ultimately good.
