I can't even put it to words, I'm too pissed lmao. All I can say is 17 year old highschooler with access to internet should give her enough ground to cover what not to do around victims of rape.
Also, if the genders were reversed, bet no one's gonna defend the guy that says "Was it even done against your will?" Or "Did you even try to fight back?" To a girl.

As this is Japan, that is a lot more conservative, also not open about this topics and many times this topic is romanticize, the author made a very realistic take of how it is. Knowing and Understanding a lot of times is different. Also the phrases were to show how most of the times there is prejudice against the victim (even more in man) even when they like you and are close to you. 17 year old highschooler with access to Internet are all different, it clear the author wants to show that the only information she has is the basic one and that's really common in Japan, a lot of kids this age are not knowledgeable in such a heavy topic even with Internet. Is realistic but really hard reality

I was supposed to read chap 1, but noticed some comments about the recent chapter, so I decided to read those first and... I'm not liking her at all.
Someone spoil me if she really is the love interest? I can't ever go back to her if that was me, absolutely mental to victim blame, question his situation, and call him filthy with "dirty parts"? What the fuck?
Even if she's ignorant or clueless about sex, it's common sense to understand that it was not his will to be assaulted, which caused him to transfer and isolate himself. It's obviously serious and traumatizing for him? Context clues girl, you're in high school not kindergarten, dumbass.
Will read this properly if:
1. That girl isn't end game (really, no getting back from that, I swear)
2. It becomes more about MC's healing and overcoming his trauma than force feeding him romance to somehow get him over it and "fix" him.

No, really. FL been productive and has her priorities in check. The ML? He's so... dense. Really, his looks are the only thing going with him.
Also, he rejected her the last time they were together at the banquet, because he lacks the comprehension to remember their pact of playing pretend. And now, he came back with that clingly and longing attitude? The audacity? FL never liked you to begin with.
Hoping that he discovers how much he fumbled the plan back at the banquet, and that she never held any romantic feelings like he does so he feels embarrased.

I don't like how they're setting it up as murderer x murdered. Alfonso deserves a better woman. Not someone who used him to rise to power/win ceasar's love and not someone who killed him.
I'd prefer to focus on Adriane and her revenge on the fam, ahe has their finances in check and it's so much more interesting than romance.

I completely agree with you, it's just that it doesn't have to be Adriane. I'm sure there will be other women there who's better for him and matches his moral standing.
Adriane can do her revenge or whatever, but it's just so awkward to fall in love with the guy you killed with no hesitation. I think if the POVs were reversed, where ML was killed by FL and we see it from ML's POV, we'd definitely not want him to get together with the FL that killed him.
How did Tsubasa even get over to awesome Sota's? Sota's place looks pretty far too. I'm sure Tsubasa's fam never took him there and I didn't see any mode of transportation. I feel like it's going to take another woozy turn.
Also, that pretend kid is gonna grow up entitled and abusive, Sota should fix that, he'll turn into a punchable person.
I am 100% sure that Sota is dead.
And the current chapter is just another dream.
And the "him" that Sota (from the dream) warned Tsubasa about is definitely this boy Kenta (or somebody who is using Kenta's appearance).
This is my hypothesis about the car incident:
The family went to the alzhemeir hospital to get grandpa checked.
On the way home, mom mixed in drugs into the drink and have the whole family drinks it to have a mass suicide.
Somehow, Sota realised something is not right and managed to find them unconscious inside the car/van.
Panic & shocked, Sota start to drive the van to rush them to hospital, but ended up in an accident, Sota died there.
About the real Kenta.... I feels like Tsubasa's mom may actually killed him...?
