My tragedy loving self kinda hoped that their child isn't Aster and that's just how life is and they have to accept it.

It doesn't automatically make everything perfect and smooth when the mother travels back in time. It explores how the sudden choices really affect the people unaware of the future. It's not always "The time traveler's decisions are absolute because the know better", there will be people questioning it.

Also, I like how she's aware that the bare minimum of providing lily a very comfortable life of material necessities isn't enough to be a good mother. The redemption is really redemptioning!

I really wanna see a calculated and perfectly executed revenge. There can be lil oopsies here and there, but nothing too major that drags and ruins everything or turns into a chummy ending.

I love themes like these so much, it's an acquired taste, but it has so much depth and weight when I finished it in one sitting. Wow... just wow. It going into my faves. I love cycle endings when done just right!

When you come to see a girlboss get ruined by bland MLs huhuhu, she's supposed to be a cold hearted, career driven, and goal oriented baddie. But let me guess, they'll soften her up with sparkles and romance about how she never felt this way before in her previous life. Smh.

This feels realistic. Sure, it's very friendship-based atm even esp when we look forward to romance, but I feel like this is how life really is. No one goes through things fully one at a time, while ML has this budding relationship with FL, he's got a proper personality because he's human. He's got a responsibility as a baker, he's got friends to grow with, and a future to think for himself.

He has his own shit to worry about OUTSIDE of this whole ML and FL romance thing. There won't be constant chummy things every chapter because it's something that's supposed to happen naturally, not like a written plot with romance sequences at every turn because it's a romance manga.

Anyway, that's what I feel about this. It's so refreshing and it's not sparkly doki doki at every chapter, but it's also not some super dark someone-got-murdered backstory. It's a literal slice of life abt growing up, making friends, finding yourself, and forming new relationships.

This is the first time we actively address the original soul of the body. Love that she has a maid that cares for her so much to the point of revenge via witch contract. Good for her.
