I am really curious dose he really love Courtney or not cuz in one chapter he said that she wasn't that pretty and now seeing this chap everyone reacting like how he fall in love or when, but he seems to be obsessed over her so is it her dominant personality he is into or it's her
To me it felt like he fell in love during him courting her. And since she fit his personality it was insanity and love for him he liked how she treated him with disgust and I m guessing he liked that she wasn't like the other women who would've ran away when forced to do his naughty plays. ╮(￣▽￣)╭ he just fell for her in the process of marrying for convenience
In the novel is possible to see how much he loves her and he thinks she’s pretty. It’s always described how he looks at her with love and care in his eyes

I do think he finds her attractive. At least that's the impression I got. In chapter 43 he said her personality drew him in, but he wouldn't have married her if she wasn't his type. I think through his actions he seems to care a lot about her.
Yes, I interpreted like he wouldn’t marry just anyone because they’re into bdsm. He does find her very attractive (but other people think she isn’t a striking beauty and her looks are rather common, which doesn’t necessarily mean she’s ugly)
