Can anyone explain to me what did his sister steal?
His sister "stole" by having a slightly similar singing style (using this girl as inspiration), having a song written by her brother ( this girl feels threatened bc this guy isnt her exclusive write), by getting attention?? (how dare she, right?) and.... Having a "comfortable" home and a family that loves her (and thats unfair bc this other lady doesnt have it, so somehow it was "stolen" from her?)
In other words, its bullshit. This lady is jealous and feeling insecure, as if she's hitting a wall, and the sister is doing really well, so instead of acknowledging the hard work and natural skills that the sister used to get here, this lady has decided to blame the sister for having things like:
Songs written for her by her brother
A loving family
Attention
Because obviously its the sisters fault her life sucks.
This "Goyou" (cannot spell it for the life of me) is a character I really personally cant stand, since i hate the "blame other people for my problems" type.
If this lady would litterally just say "Im jealous of your sister because she seems to get the things i want so much easier than it is for me" i wouldn't hate her so much, but to say someone "stole" something that isnt even yours in the first place? Bullshit. Thats incel behaviour.
Also, i dont buy what the manga is saying about Gouyou being mad that the sister "stole" her song style by slightly copying it, cuz this girl was mad and hated the sister long before that happened.
This dude said "sorry I'm not able to be your personal composer for life, im making a song for my sister" and this woman went right off the deep end.

I agree with what you’ve said frfr but I’m pretty sure the only thing she said the sister “stole” was her singing. She explained that she didn’t like how her singing (which was the only thing she thinks she has) was being used as a stepping stone. Everything else was probably her jealousy turned hatred.
It’s like having your accomplishment that you worked so hard on to get (and the praise maybe) only for that to be used as a stepping stone used by another and made even better.
Not everyone will have a good reaction to that.

I find it ridiculous she hates the sister too but some part is understandable.
Like the jealousy she felt towards the sister. Although she doesn’t know what the sisters life is like to her from what she has seen and observed (which isn’t much) she thinks the sister lived a happy good life filled with warmth and a warm family (which is true aside from the good life ig cuz she and her family did suffer but she has a warm family so that’s the part that’s true).
Everyone has different lives and experiences. Some people are more unfortunate to have a family that is cruel. Some times those people end up hating or being jealous of others with a happy family due to the jealousy. She was jealous of that and started to hate the sister (I’m repeating my sentences a lot but wording them a lil different aren’t I…)

Is the the one who invented that kind of style? I mean, sorry maybe I just don't really understand her perspective because I'm not really into music, but most singers slightly have similar styles. Idk. I'm having a hard time to imagine it because I can't personally hear their voice.
It’s not about inventing but it’s her own style. Rn the sister is figuring out her own singing style. But she’s using the girls singing as a uhhh what’s the word- oh yes inspiration.
The sister likes the girls singing and is singing like her in an inspired way. But the girl doesn’t like that because the her singing which is the only thing she has (of value ig or gives life and joy to her???) is being used as a stepping stone for another person.
Sometimes people tend to be more possessive and protective of what they have especially if it’s of value to them.

It’s a bit funny to see the negative reactions of the reader, and i believe if it was a story about graphic art and we could visualize the issue, Goyou would get much more understanding.
I know a few real world artists who got into dispute with their younger peers when they were « used as inspiration « . These people are all fully grown ups, earning a living with their art, but that subject is very emotional and anger hardly subsided, they had the word stolen on their lips too.
In the cases I’m mentioning, the « mischiefs » were the work of heated fans, younger artists paying homage, being too strongly influenced in their art style for their own good. They also regretted that it did strain the relationship with their favorite artist, for a while, and grew a different style, to further their careers.
I feel that a teenager with a fragile sense of self, would not react less violently, and perhaps even strongly
Figuring your own style can be tough, it might take time too, and if i had to sum it up, you’d be welcome to try and be « inspired « , but not to showcase it, and even less be published while your influences are still too distinctive

What the heck? Worst plot twist. The former princess lived in their place for a year? Or years (i don't remember!) as his sibling and now they suddenly got engaged? I'm currently on chapter 48 and i'm deciding if I'm dropping this or not. This story gives a Mercenary Enrollment vibes and I decided to read this because it has a lot of chapters, but idk if it's worth it.
Tbh this manhwa are noway close to mercenary enrollment and the plot are no brainer but still enjoyable sometimes. Just don't think too hard on this.
