The thing is it's not just how thick the lenses are it's the style of the frame. Certain frames look better on you depending on the style and the style she has a retro pair her uncle got for cheap, so practicality is the only thing that matters with those. also older styled glasses look extremely dorky compared to the more modern glasses we where now and are ridiculously big to where the lenses could warp some of her features. She has a rounder face so round glasses aren't flattering and would enlarge her face. She needs a more rectangular pair with thinner frames, it would suit her more.
