But on another note, I'm no happy the author decided to give them closure instead of moving with the story without us knowing the fate of songrik and wondering what became of his and jinhyeongs relationship. I wonder if a reconciliation like this wouldve worked in Skylar and Minwoos case from Lost in the Cloud
i dont think rik is dead, jinhyeong would be waaaay more disraught now if that was the case. he probabaly skipped town or something.
i also think it was jinhyeongs fault for saying the thing about "being real family" to rik but i also think rik was out of line for bulling jinhyeong and spilling his tea to the school and then jinhyeong just made things 100x worse for spilling riks beans in front of everyone after he tried to publicly apologise. like his life is already awful without you saying "thats why yo mama left" damn. im not mad at either them tho but im more on riks side bc i would react the same way lmaoooooo

I read the main story after this chapter and it seems in the main story, Kanta already knew Mogami (his childhoos crush) was gay and liked Daichi (the senpai). why is this story acting as if Kanta didn't know any of this when he says "i didnt know he would fall for a guy" or "that means I had a chance" bc the first story shows that he already knew his friends heart belonged to someone else (and he even meddled in their relationship)
