A pet snake is a lot of responsibility, even more so than a cat or dog. Perhaps if you make a portfolio or slideshow or something to show that you absolutely did your homework on snakes and am willing to put your max attention to taking care of it, your mom might let you UwU
The responsibility part is not rlly the problem we already have a lot of cats and dogs it's more along the lines of my mom doesn't like reptiles ╥﹏╥
Well like i said reptiles as pet is a bit different. And people are still a bit discrimating towards reptiles still, which is sad. But maybe if you can proove that you can definitely control the pet and not let it disturb her much then yeah. Maybe.
But also you can just wait until you have your own money and live on your own later that you can have your own pet reptiles. That's a safer option for said pet too.
But hey, it's a good thing that you like snakes though. Most people are afraid of them.
