The premise of this is so good but the chapters are so short the plot is really not developing at all. The author needs to think about what they want this to be. There are so many unanswered questions.
Even though it isn’t stated explicitly, Sangwoo is clearly on the spectrum. That being said, he needs to work through his internalised homophobia and it’s refreshing to see a character actually tell him how it is because he probably needed that. He has a lot to unlearn. I don’t think people should be criticised for calling him annoying when he behaves this way though. Neurodivergent or not, homophobic rhetoric is homophobic rhetoric and I’m assuming this has a lot of queer readers so it’s natural for them to feel some disdain to his character at points. He’s clearly just working through some internal issues so I’m really excited to see him finally accept himself.
YES this is such a good take and I also think it's important to realise that a character can be annoying and still be a good and/or loveable character I wish people didn't take it as a personal attack and realise a lot of people ARE annoying in fiction and in real life, that's part of being human.
Exactly he is a very loveable character. We are all annoying sometimes. I think his flaws make him relatable!
