I don't really want haesoo with Taku but I don't want him to end up with joowon either because I think that would be sending out a toxic message but the art is gorgeous this is why im still here despite this toxic story line. joowon is gorgeous idk why the author had to do this to us TT

haesoo and joowon had a blatantly unhealthy relationship, there was an obvious power imbalance between the two. I don't understand why after all that the author wants to pitch the two together. Constantly trying to making a troubled relationship work. I could be speaking from this perspective because I have seen it happen before, but I don't see the use in chasing after something that failed several times. I wish the author could've shown that its okay to be selfish and to let go and to do something for yourself. I just don't see any of the relationships in this story as healthy or appealing. of course thats just my personal take and I am typing really fast so mind my grammar :(

Lol I'm not native and make many mistakes myself. So don't worry about that.
But I think that in general the sorry doesn't have to give some universal message. Some stories just portray some events, experiences of some people.
Two. I have to agree with @lavender.
"that after 80 chapters of this y’all still think that if Haesoo and Joowon got back together they’d somehow revert back to square one?".
I think it's important to note they are changing, they are growing.
So even if they entered the relationship once more, they wouldn't be the same people.
If they were willing to put effort in the relationship, talk about their issues and problems, I wouldn't be against them trying once again.

Tbh It's hard to say how the story will end. I would prefer to see more interactions between Haesoo and Joowon but I think they needed the time on their own to grow and look at their relationship through different perspective.
Tbh imo Joowon wasn't completely antagonised from the beggining. Of course there were his mistakes which were very conspicuous (and the story was mostly narrated by Haesoo at the time) but we have seen his positive traits too.

the only hard thing to imagine would be joowon as endgame. especially because we have so little chapters left. unless something crazy unexpected happens, i could totally see 1) Haesoo going to Japan with Taku,
or 2) Haesoo waiting for Taku to finish school.
But thinking of a Joowon ending..? I dont know how to picture it, and I'm not saying that because i dont ship them. Its genuinely hard to imagine unless i'm dumb.
And as the other person has already said; In case Joowon is endgame its just sad how the time was wasted. Could've been done so much better. H & J looking at their relationship from another perspective just isn't enough.

We don't know if the story will have exactly 90 chapters. Maybe it will be extended. The nearest chapters will focus mostly on Joowon's scandal, Haesoo most likely will get involved. So we will have to wait and see.
Imo all endings are rather possible at the point.
But they are not just looking at their relationship from different perspective. They are changing, growing, reflecting, rethinking.
What's more it looks like Haesoo really wants to like Taku but he is not so much emotionally invested. He definitely likes him.
Imo Mina's reaction from newest chapter spoke volumes.
I'm absolutely not saying that Haesoo won't come to love Taku. But something is lacking in their relationship right now. And I'm not sure if it is just a clear closure with Joowon.
Also what author would do with Joowon's character in such a short amount of time? If he will lose both Haesoo and now most likely his career?

i doubt joowon will lose his career o.o and even if he does, thats not a reason to let him 'at least' have haesoo, yk? lmao
and yes mina definitely sees that smth right there doesn't fit right. she knows taku is head over heels for haesoo but she's questioning haeso's feelings. you rly cant tell if its bc haesoo is in the process of letting go or bc he'll choose joowon after all.
and the way haesoo was calm af in the last eng chapter was also weird??
in terms of their relationship they haven't been doing much except rethinking and stopping to see each other. their growth is so small (specifically haesoo's), it's just all not enough, at least thats how i feel. (or maybe all of is)
my guess is that the story might end with 93 chapters but that's the maximum. why would it get extended all of the sudden?

In SK it'd not so hard to lose your career or at least start having problems even with trivial mistakes. They are being hold to some absurd standards sometimes.
"thats not a reason to let him 'at least' have haesoo, yk? lmao"
I never said that. I was just wondering what author would do with his character. What happy ending he would get if he lost his job and the person he has loved for years, knowing he has no real support, no friends etc.
Idk the pace is rather slow in S3 so it's hard to imagine all the threads will get satisfying answers in few chapters.
But as I said we have to wait and see.

yeah ofc irl SK is crazy but in terms of the story i feel like it'd be too harsh to make joowon lose his career. Idk either, yeah, we'll have to see.
The thing about 'a happy ending for all of them' is that its hard to imagine Joowon happy without him being endgame, but its a lot easier with Taku. idk man ( ̄∇ ̄")
i know the pace is slow, lets just accept the fact that the ending is going to be rushed af either way

I used to want him to end up with Taku but obviously this is one of them second lead syndrome stories lmao. anyways.
Haesoo is obviously not happy with Taku and it is making me hella uncomfortable. genuinely, if you don't have that person on your mind, why are you partaking in something so vulnerable with them. it just doesn't make sense to me.
I love this authors art and all but I feel like out of all the characters haesoo lacked the most character development. In many aspects of this story there is a poor portrayal of the relationships between gay men.
This is being dragged out and a lot of the story was kind of pointless (just my opinion obviously).
The step brother dynamic really could've been avoided in this story imo. author could've used something to replace that. It just makes the pairing of joowon and haesoo a lil weird and the whole thing about when they were teenagers was kinda odd too but whewwww
Taku is only in the story for plot development and fair enough. I think he is a very interesting character and i'm quite sad that we won't get to see him have his own happy end. I also hope that Joowon and Taku don't stay as enemies at the end of the story. I used to be like FUCK joowon but if you actually look into it, joowon has being trying hard to change and create a deeper relationship for a long fucking time now
anyways y'all should read ' the kings maker' it's a shonen ai but YALL its sooooooooo good like the plot is phenomenal. every single chapter slaps and the art is absolutely beautiful. its funny sad and everything and if you're sick of the toxicity here you should go and read it pls

am I the only one that felt PAINNNNfrom this fucking chapter hajhfjkla. like i feel so bad for him. and to people saying they're consenting. a lot of the time there's no consent or she pushes the limits or there's no aftercare and ik its fictional but my baby looks hurt so its not enjoyable the two girls need to get together it's genuinely the only duo with a decent power balance whew.
I want to know what happened to yahwi for him to end up like this. no excuse for his behaviour but it's shocking how many members of the lgbtq+ community are/were abused in their life time. so sad :(
bro right like as a kid i would always be like “why can’t they just come out it can’t be that hard, they’re just being themselves” and now i see why cuz they can’t just be accepted and it’s really sad
Yes exactly my thought (๑•ㅂ•)و✧
Do you have the raws
