I don’t care what he’s backstory is, I don’t care what redemption arc he takes, ML needs to die. He’s basically Hitler with abs, he needs to go! He’s the type to kill his partner then fck their corpse. If he wants to act like a mad dog that bad he needs to be behaviorally euthanized.
Also if it turns out the second guy is “worse” (cause how you worse than someone killing the only person who loved you, raping you, breaking your fingers, and threatens to kill you every third breath), that’s just so that viewers feel more okay with the mc being with the “less” abusive guy. It’s poor writing and false options. Now instead of two unique characters it’s the same guy twice just one is in the relationship. They sexualize ml’s assaults while showing the audience that mc remembers his trauma in the forest when 2nd ml when he takes it too far, I wonder who mc end up with?
Anyways I can’t wait for ukes to finally win in these type of stories, they’re always one step behind, too weak, or too stupid. And for those saying stop reading. My joy comes from talking shit. I’ll be euphoric is there is an actual happy ending where he dies. I’d say I’m wrong and apologize for being a stupid little dumb dumb.

Honestly I was so confused on what time period this was supposed to be set in until the later chapters. It felt weird that the outfits and all the buildings (and even the dialogue in the first translation though it was excessive) felt 1950-ish but the vampires hair was really weird. Then he randomly pulled out an iPhone and there were glass skyscrapers and I kinda just gave up. No one was really wearing particularly modern clothes until that crimson guy wore gym clothes and that was like chapter 17 but I recognize I could’ve just been being a little silly. That being said the vampire’s families’ outfits didn’t match up with the 1700s anyway if the incident was 320 years ago so maybe the author just doesn’t care that much and part of me can respect that.
It’s so hard to take the story seriously when every time I’m invested Drake appears on the screen and I crack. 10/10 would recommend, it is literally so funny.
Am I the only one that doesn’t like when they randomly just add an unrelated story to these books. Like just add the other story to its own entry on the site. It’s not a side story, hell it’s not even in the same universe, why are they fused together?

He’s acting like life is a game? That’s cause he’s in a horror game! One wrong move and he’s in a polyamorous relationship with his brothers, one wrong move and his miss action causes a terrorist attack. He had to turn off all sensation because he’s in so much pain and now he doesn’t know if people are touching him in his sleep. He dreams about his death every night! A system is controlling his whole life; if everything you do is fake why would he think the relationships are real? How is this system controlling how others act? If simply clicking “yes” can turn your childhood best friend into a psychotic lover who traps you in a tower. Being so real, I’d act like him too.
