Anger and stress can really fuck with your heart rate. He might be more predisposed to heart disease and is experiencing hypertension (high blood pressure) which causes blood clots. Depending on where these clots are he’ll either have a heart attack or a stroke. Since his neck starts hurting it’s probably gonna be a stroke since that happens when blood is blocked from the brain. Is it a silly plot line, yeah. But it’s not impossible, you can have a heart attack/stroke at any age depending on genetics and external factors

I don’t know why Asia was specifically mentioned, most non-European races have an increased chance of developing hypertension so maybe it’s something else unique to them. But in my limited view it’s probably hypertension followed by a stroke.

I was prepared for the worst but this guy is up there in green flags. Yes mc is drunk, but the seme made sure he knew what was going on. He’s not some of those gross semes that suck at sex but the audience doesn’t care cause he’s hot. He’s main goal was to make sure the mc had a good time. I don’t know why authors refuse to have characters have platonic relationships. When the mc has a friend the ml wants to isolate him from, authors always make it so this friend is actually romantically interested in mc. This gives a valid reason to cut them off since their feelings would make mc uncomfortable. PROBLEM that makes the ml abusive isolating behavior less bad cause now it’s excusable. If my friend is in an abusive relationship I will fight with my all to get them out. Not because I want to date or marry them but because I love my friends and I want them to be treated like human beings. There is absolutely no excuse to force them to go no contact, stop introducing excuses into the narrative.

This is such a well-written story about overcoming childhood sexual trauma. When reading the original I was hoping that the younger brother was only acting creepy because of complex feelings resulting from trauma but you can never be too sure with adult romance writers. He could have genuinely been in love with his brother and have not taken the self-reflection to realize how dangerous those feelings are. But this author made a realistic portrayal of the thought process adults who have dealt with this go through and I had to cry because of how human it was. I don’t care he is actually an omega, what was interesting about the story was him overcoming his trauma and reconnecting with his brother.

That rape line was weird at the end though, totally unnecessary and I hope it was just a translation error

The top was clearly supposed to be a masochist. For once I wanted to see the top get roughed up a bit and the fact it would’ve been consensual made it 100x better. But like no, that didn’t happen. If anything the bottom ended up more bruised. The story wasn’t bad but the plot was lost.

Why make that actor guy almost a rapist if he’s later chill. Why was that a plot point, that was so unnecessary

His cute but why do these characters never act like adult human beings. I don’t care about his looks, early and even late adults can have youthful faces, or the fact that he’s shy. But something about the way he acts is so under-socialized, he’s like a child in a way that just being shy or “quirky” wouldn’t. He should worry about making a few friends his age not dating.

He’s acting like life is a game? That’s cause he’s in a horror game! One wrong move and he’s in a polyamorous relationship with his brothers, one wrong move and his miss action causes a terrorist attack. He had to turn off all sensation because he’s in so much pain and now he doesn’t know if people are touching him in his sleep. He dreams about his death every night! A system is controlling his whole life; if everything you do is fake why would he think the relationships are real? How is this system controlling how others act? If simply clicking “yes” can turn your childhood best friend into a psychotic lover who traps you in a tower. Being so real, I’d act like him too.
